Hacking R4i TT (r4itt.net)?

A friend gave me a DS flashcart named "R4i TT" with "r4itt.net" at the bottom.
How do I get this flashcart to work? (what kernel does it use, etc.)
Assuming it isn't fake.

The word "Fake" when applied to DS flashcards has been completely devalued of meaning: your card's name is clearly a ripoff of both the R4 and TTDS brands (and might be a clone of neither), while the most appreciated current flashcard (r4ids.cn) rips off the R4 name not differently than 50 other and much less recommendable cards

I just meant "fake" as in doesn't (and possibly wasn't meant to) work, really.

With the kernel in the in the flashcart and everything, it still doesn't work. It doesn't even say that a game card is inside the DS.

Then it's most likely bricked, or the card too thin to make contact (but, just to be sure: what console(s) have you tried it on?)

Well, that's the most nitpicking console (for now)

Ideally you should try on an original DS or a Lite to exclude console-side problems
and/or open it up and put a rectangle of paper behind the pins (between the front case and the board) to thicken it up

I can't do that, it blocks the screws on it.
EDIT: I just stuffed some paper in. It now shows up on the DSi Menu. Thanks!

dsi has this problem with reading games. you need try at least ew times. Or use a thin paper to make contact with pins. Try downloading the kernel again. Maybe try use other kernels?

I have the thin paper thing in the card right now, I'll try out R4 wood.
EDIT: R4 Wood did not work.

No. The error message sounds like the R4 won't work on his system because the firmware blocks it.
You need a DS Lite to make sure that the flashcard works.

Try on a 2gb or less micro sd. Maybe it's a compatibility issue.
