It's typical really. It can even murder a console, see NES Classic, and already before its official release, SNES Classic. I think that will go the NES Classic route, only quicker.

Yea i can't believe how stupid our race has become. I saw those Pikachu ones on Ebay for 300 to 1000 new in box marked "rare".. But if you dig a bit deeper there also there new in box for 229 shipped.. So basically after ebay and paypal and shipping the person gets exactly what it cost new.. But people still but the 350 dollar one..

Thanks, I reported both of them.
Note: I have nothing against piracy or people selling modded consoles. I do however have something against people who try to sell their console for way more than it's worth just because it has pirated games on it, or people who try to take advantage of less technologically inclined people by charging them double for something like "Wireless Capture" which is nothing more than a piece of software that any hacked 3DS can run.
A hacked 3DS is worth a little more than a non-hacked one, but it certainly isn't worth double, and the pirated games add nothing to the value.

Same here, i applaud selling hacked systems. Or modified ones. But a used new 3ds xl is roughly 150, time and energy to mod something possible 50. So with ebay fees and bs maybe 220> Give or take.. But to be like this shit red system that has stolen property, and probably not even modded right with the way he speaks is worth 350? Get the fuck out..

Hilarious. But this is nothing new, honestly. People used to sell softmodded OG Xboxes for way above MSRP back in the day, and PS3s, too. Wiis that were hacked were pretty dang expensive, too, which is even more ridiculous when you think, Letterhax was 100x faster and easier to install than even 3DS cfw.

*whistles* daddy is gonna be angry when a 3DS arrives in the mail, kiddos, but honestly, this is exactly like I sold my old PSP, had it hacked with 18 games on it, sold it for 150 bucks, advertised it as "good condition PSP with over 15 full, high quality games on the memory stick, bargain price". it was sold in 2 days.

I haven't been gaming for such a long time. Been mostly busy with sleep, hardware tinkering and checking GBAtemp frequently.

It's going alright thanks :) I know what you mean with gaming time. It's precious where I can get it these days.

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.
