Smartboy allows you to play Gameboy and Gameboy color cartridge on your android smartphone
I don'T know if flashcart will be compatible with it.

I guess I've never tried it, because there's really no reason to... but I really don't see why they wouldn't, if they work on genuine hardware

i dont know if its emulator inside the phone or if the cpu/gpu is in the smartbot and the smartphone is used only to display

From what I watched a while ago? You use an emulator on the phone. It seems the smartboy hardware is used to read the cartridge rom and save. That's it. You're not actually running the game from the cartridge directly.. So to speak.

Yeah, I remember seeing this quite a while back.

In my opinion, though, if you're gonna go to the extent to play legitimate Game Boy cartridges on your phone with buttons, I'd recommend you just pick up any old Game Boy (Color/Advance). I've seen 'em lying around for $40.

Also, the prices for some of these Game Boy games are ridiculous. Like, jeez. $30 for frickin' Pokemon.
