Square Enix has announced the sequel to their 2016 title, Dragon Quest: Builders, a game that originally released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. Simply titled as Dragon Quest: Builders 2, this time, the game will be releasing for PS4 and the Nintendo Switch. Not much was revealed, though the company said new features like gliding, underwater exploration, and a hugely missed feature in the original; online multiplayer will be included in 2. The game is currently in development, and has no release window.

Aaaaa I'm so glad it's coming to the Switch over the Vita. Don't get me wrong, I love my Vita, but I just couldn't play the original game on it. The system was just too small and it made the game feel somewhat clunky. Glad I'll finally be able to experience it properly!

Sure, they have, but the question is if you honestly believe they planned for hang gliding as a transport mechanism from the beginning, or saw Zelda and said "Hey, that was received well, lets do that." There's a difference between using an idea well, or using it because they saw someone else do it and want try and cash in on that market.

To me it seems more like a cheeky add-in rather than a thought out idea. Think multiplayer because publishers demand multiplayer. Poorly implemented or forced in for a checkbox. That's what this appears to be to me.

Sweet!!! I had play Dragon Quest Builders on my PS4 and love it. Been play for 8 days (2 days per campaign chapter 1 then 2 then 3 then final 4th). I play each chapter about 15 - 18 hours a day. Beat all bosses. I sure Dragon Quest Builders game is best ever I play and much fun on my PS4!

I would buy Dragon Quest Builders 2 for my PS4 when get release out. I'm very excite and can't wait to play this new 2nd game!

This game is like Zelda and Minecraft in one. Awesome game! I recommend everyone buy Dragon Quest Builders and everyone won't disappoint this best game! Buy, buy, buy it because it is best game ever made!

Thank god its not coming to vita. The original port was garbage, just like the mc port. The only reason switch is getting it is Square feels bad for Nintenho. Hopefully they do this right because a 3rd and 4th would not be hard to sell after a successful 2nd.
