Even if it works in NO$GBA, you might wish to redo everything from the original NAND dump with TWLTool 1.6, as apparently old versions destroyed some data:

Ahh, I see the issue. Your are lacking the correct naming for your DSi BIOS dumps! :P
They should be named BIOSDSI7.ROM and BIOSDSI9.ROM. My dumps have a CRC32 of 9F1840D9 for the former, and 3D64D498 for the latter. Lacking those dumps gives me the same 2-2435-8325 error code. (Mine were attained from the Internet Archive)

I guess that solves the mystery of why you couldn't get even a clean dump booting. :P
Make sure you flash back the NAND dump that doesn't have the footer. Since there isn't enough space on the NAND, I don't think it would cause any issues with a hardmod, but it might make software-based methods act strange...

Yep, I'm fairly certain you're good-to-go! :P
Do be sure to retain your clean NAND dump though, in the event that something goes wrong.

My HDD is a mess. I have a literal stack of drives in a box, and I have to keep pulling them out to access old files. ._."
EDIT: Worst part is that they're bare drives, so I have to keep pulling the side off of my tower to get at the SATA plugs I have dangling just for this purpose (I'm apparently too cheap to just buy one of those HDD docks from Amazon. :rofl2:)

Also, be sure that that's the right file -- it isn't the same directory as the one you showed me when you were asking about the footer.

this is the one i saved without the footer. i "save as'd" into the no$gba folder so that it wont affect the original. i even checked the original top make sure. im a very careful person.

Woo! Congratulations! :P
Glad you got it to work! If you're feeling bored waiting for DSi hacks, you can 'questionably obtain' DSiWare fairly easily. Since tickets aren't verified at runtime on the DSi, you can just inject a dummy ticket, and a copy of a valid DSiWare and TMD, and voila!
(If you feel like doing this, I suggest Brain Age Express: Sudoku. One of the best DSiWares that was mysteriously pulled from the shop awhile ago. Crash-Course Domo is also fairly fun. :P)

And uh, what the pawn shop doesn't know can't hurt them.

No problem. I'm always glad to help. :)
If you have any other questions, feel free to message me or post in this thread. :P

(Yikes. I'm surprised that it's taken this long after its death for the DSi to get easily and publicly hacked. o_e)

also i believe that 2 error is a conflict between the firmware the ds bios and the dsi bios somehow. maybe its signed or something.
I'm honestly surprised that searching the error code on Google didn't yield any results, considering how easy it is to make the mistake. I guess not many people are trying to boot DSi NAND dumps in NO$GBA yet?

it seems more so the firmware files than the main nand. so maybe i dumped them wrong somehow. but i got those working ones so itll be fine.
