Generally I wouldn't mind sharing source code and I usually always do but I wish to keep the source code private. I haven't forgotten what happened last time with "Project Sinner" etc

Sometimes you have to make decisions and those decisions are not easy to make but they are the right ones.
project sinner was a genuine improvment with a gui

I get that, but you're missing the entire point. I understand it was an improvemnt, but there was already a client in existence that did the job. I'm probably going to be doing away with the old ProjectPegasus client soon in order to support having just a single tool.

To be quite honest, we need our own Xbox One homebrew section. Having everything relegated to the tutorials section so people aren't aware that homebrew exists for xbox one doesn't benefit the community

30 threads explaining how you sideload an emulator isn't helping either.

i use that one and prefer the old style

Okay sure but it just kinda undermines my effort to make things easier for newcomers and have one single client versus 2 or 3 or 4. Do as you wish

I'm so glad that you suddenly had an epiphany and care so much for this community

thats because we cant just post it. if we had a homebrew section we could simply release it. but since we are confined to tutorials we have to explain how to do something, so we explain how to sideload

Replace emu by homebrew game and you can load it the same way.
No real reason to make another thread bout it.

A general thread on how to sideload things is far easier to understand then dozends of threads on how to sideload a specific emu/game.

Dinoh, The thing that gets me is you've been following this scene for a bit now, and I just can't understand why this is suddenly an issue now. We've been working this way as a community for months now having each new release as a different topic, and it's never been an issue before. Like Elijah said We'd be better off if we had a xbox one homebrew section where we could put all of the releases that we have had for the past three going on four months.

what? the reason is that we cant just post it. and we have to explain how to sideload since the rules say we have to actual post a tut in the tuts section.
we would just say [release] <insert homebrew here> but we have to make a tutorial

You both fail to get the point.

A general tutorial on how to sideload applications on the Xbone would be better then a bunch of single tuts.
It clutters the board and it would make it hard for first timers to fully grasp it.
Besides, part of the process of homebrewing is also understanding what you're doing.
You wouldn't give a 5 year old a 3DS and tell them to install B9S.

Also, wiired, I didn't respond to your previous post as I expected better of you.

ugh. well if you insist we stop continuosly posting tuts how do you suggest we post new homebrew while still following the rule to post tuts?

Sorry to disappoint you but I'm nothing special, just a flawed human being like everyone else.

My apologies, we will try and work with what you want with regards to organization just instruct us how we should going forward from here.

General well written tut on how one should set up his Xbone to sideload applications and how to sideload it.
At the bottom, you could include a a spoiler box with links to various applications.

Having a cluttered up board only makes it harder for the noobs.
