Added homebrew games:

CTGP Revolution
CTGP Revolution is a mod to Mario Kart Wii adding over 200 new tracks to the game, as well as loads of extra features.

Let me know if there are other items to be added to the topic.

For all intents and purposes, you should definitely re-route the URL for Genesis Plus GX to https://bitbucket.org/eke/genesis-plus-gx/src/master/builds/
The link you've posted directs to a version that is older than Jesus, yet G+GX continues to be updated frequently, and the most recent wii .dol can be found at the aforementioned link.

Is there some sort of application where I can connect my wii to the internet using a gamecube controller? Or control the wii settings using said controller?

Hello,

Does anyone have forwarders for Real Wii's emulators/loaders?

I take it i need a .wad installer to get these installed as channels, A friend of mine wants to install forwarders for USBloaderGX, Nestopia, Snes9x and Nintendont. As his HBC does not detect his wiimotes, for some reason, but detects inputs just fine on the Wii Menu.

His HBC may be outdated. grab the newest one if you don't already have it. 1.1.0 has a fix that's for his more recent type of Wiimote.

Sonic Mania port for Wii homebrew :v
...does not exist, and most likely won't.
Not totally impossible though. Stealth (who worked with Taxman developing the engine used on their Sonic games) actually made a port of one of his 2D game engines to the Wii. There's even a Sonic level example! Of course it must not be as fully featured as the one used on Mania, but is something to work with.
Here it is! Mania even features its logo.

Of course not IMPOSSIBLE, but the engine Sonic Mania is built around is a much more up-to-date version of the engine you're speaking of, and it's made for more modern hardware setups--for example, the Wii's single-core processor would impose a lot of work to be done by the developers to optimize every use of multithreading in the game down to what a single processor core could handle. This, in combination with the fact that the Wii is unsupported by Sega today, leads me to believe that it is very highly unlikely that we'll see Sonic Mania on our console.

Of course a 1:1 official port is pretty much out of the table. But due to part of the engine being available I don't think it is impossible for some fan with dedication to recreate the levels and mechanics, much like Taxman and Stealth had being doing before. Mania isn't much of a demanding game hardware wise.

Added an game to the list:

Super Mario War Wii
Super Mario War Wii is a port of Super Mario War which is a simple fighting game that feels like a toned down Super Smash Bros, great fun with friends local play.

Let me know if there are any specific recommendations as usual.

I don't think a list like this would be complete without New(er) Super Mario Bros. Wii

it is more fun and entertaining than the actual game! and even a NOOB like me got it set up using Riivolution
