Wondering.. Does it matter if you use the controllers wirelessly instead of connected to the switch? (Constantly charging controllers vs wireless power usage?)

it does not charge the joy cons when you have them on the on the console itself unless the system is charging

opinion: I would think bluetooth doesn't draw a crazy amount of power so you should be fine, if you want me to include wether there on the system or via bluetooth to be mentioned in the notes section for your tests I can

Unrelated question:

How accurate is the "Total playtime clock"? because my switch is informing me that i have played for 160 hours or more in Zelda BOTW. But personally i think that my play time is closer to 120 hours.

So just how accurate is the built in playtime calculator?

perhaps it also counts times you left it paused and walked away for a moment with it still open, that little stuff could add up

As far as I know bluetooth is pretty power hungry..

Hmm but i never leave it in sleep mode.Nor do i leave it paused EVER. I switch it off after each play session

Also is it weird that my switch cant handle Zelda BOTW for least 3 hours in portable mode? it lasts usually for 2hrs and 30mins. On full brightness in portable mode i mean. I only ask because Nintendo did say that zelda in portable should last for 3 hours at least but mine doesn't...

I suppose it may depend on where ya go, you could be hanging out in more demanding areas
I ment the switch is still fully on but you leave it in the menus paused while you grab a drink or use the bathroom, that's what I ment, sleep mode works amazingly

Yeah the switch is a great machine. I am Loving it and honestly i am relieved since i took a huge gamble with this system. And that isn't because it is a Nintendo product. But instead actually because it was my first ever Zelda game lol. I always intended to buy a switch since they announced that upcoming SMT Title. So i was prepared to spend £280 on the system. But for my first game on the system. I have to admit, i was generally worried as to whether or not i would like Zelda since i am usually into JRPGS like Final fantasy & Persona. Also not to mention the fact that it costs £50 :gun:(which was well worth it considering the 160+ hours that i put into the game)

But after playing it for 160+ hours and exploring every nook and cranny of the map and visiting 118/120 shrines. I generally love the game. 9/10 in my book.
The only problems i feel that the game has preventing it from 10/10 in my book were:
  • The fps drops or lag in certain areas
  • The whole system of the weapons breaking. I am not a big fan of that because i want to be able to keep the rarer weapons in the game rather than find them again every time i break them. Or re craft them or whatever
  • And my final small gripe with the game has to be the whole weather system and how you cant climb terrains when its raining. I hate that but at the same time i appreciate how it adds a higher sense of realism into the game.
And that is the end of my anecdote. Sorry for going off on one, on your thread. Haha.

Well i would love to stay and chat. But i really need to go and start my assault on Hyrule castle

I am discontinuing this as there is definitely not enough time in life for me at the moment with being in my final year of high school. If someone else wants to take the rains from here then let me know and I'll set ya up. Otherwise I say farewell to this project.
