Nobody said that the game would only have English VA. They probably chose to do a trailer in English because the whole E3 is in English and to show that this game can be played fully in English (because the previous trailers were in Japanese with English subtitles). I think that the developers are pretty much forced to include such an option because every game on the Switch is going to be region-free. That means that even if you'd buy this game from Japan, it should play exactly the same in the Europe/US.

Unfortunately it was said in the second trailer (at least UK and FR one)
at 13second

I personally can't wait for the romahcking portion, although it'll likely be months (or even years) before that's a thing. Even so, it's fun just browsing through the romfs to see what I can do/find. Emulation would be cool too, especially PSP if that's a possibility.

What are you guys looking forward to the most?
Mostly since the switch's components are similar to the nvidia sheild's, it would be nice to see a branch of Dolphin Emu coming to the switch. Other tha that, playing quake on this thing would be awesome.

Gamecube emulator is the thing I want most, having Skies of Arcadia & Tales of Symphonia on the go would be amazing, not to mention Pokemon Colosseu, XD Gale of Darkness, & the many other GC titles I never got to play as a kid/teen.

If we could get Wii games running on it too, which I could see for some titles and definetely not for others, that'd be amazing. Though hasn't there been a few games that the Switch has already demonstrated it can do screen pointing with the Joycons?

Many other emulators, and admittedly I'd be likely to pirate some games, and purchase others. Homebrew stuff would be nice aswell, video players, music players, browser, all that good stuff.

So TL:DR I'm looking for a mixed bag of stuff.

Pirating, emulators including Game Cube, Wii, and Wii U. Since Wii U can emulated Game Cube thanks to Nintendont. So why not Switch too ? :)

Short answer:
Because Nintendont is not an emulator.

Long answer:
Both Wii (even the models stripped of the controller and memory card ports) and Wii U contain hardware that can run Gamecube games natively (which Nintendont utilizes).
GC, Wii and Wii U are all based on PPC architecture. The Switch on the other hand is based on the ARM architecture and therefore not meant to natively run GC games.
You might be better off trying to port an ARM version of Dolphin over to the Switch, but that would still need lots of optimization to run at full speed.

if we could somehow emulate the original wii on the switch, the joyconso would make it perfect.

but that won't happen
