Also, please note that while the prizes are really cool for this first raffle, we don't know yet whether the next raffles will have such prizes again (unless Patreons donation continue increasing). Your support will also fund the GBAtemp Bounty which will be announced later this month.

How to enter?
In order to enter you must:
1) be a Patreon backer since June - anyone who became a backer after July 1st is not included since their first payment will be processed in August
2) post in this thread
3) not get banned or suspended until the winners are announced

When's the deadline?
You have one week to enter. This thread will be locked on July 12th.

When will the winners be announced?
Within a few days after July 12th.

at the moment there are 56, and it's too late to start backing and enter this so if we say all 56 people will post here and enter the competition:
each person has a 1.78% chance of winning a switch, and an 8.9% chance of winning any prize!

(1/56) 1.78% chance of winning the first prize given
(1/55) 1.81% chance of winning the second prize given
(1/54) 1.85% chance of winning the third prize given
(1/53) 1.88% chance of winning the fourth prize given
(1/52) 1.92% chance of winning the fifth prize given

or, add them all together and you have a 9.24% chance of winning.

Probability of winning any of the prizes = 5/56 = 8.93% (easy way to calculate it)

Or, taking the other way of the analysis:
Probability of winning any of the prizes = sum of ( Probability of winning a given prize * Probability of not having won any of the previous ones)

It goes like this:

I'd say it's because it's a quarterly raffle, it's better to post after the deadline. Otherwise, you'll have people pledging four times a year just for a shot at the raffle, which isn't exactly fair to the site or the other actual patrons.
