Works perfect, just tested created tags from your tool on a Switch. Thanks a lot.

Small suggestions for a future update:
The majority of the new dumps are going to be with the newly discovered extra data at the end of the file which makes it 572 bytes, but the currently know writing method is for 540 byte files.
Basically to trim 572 dumps down to 540.

The ones that I tested were like this and I trimmed them down myself. Honestly, it's not really something important since it can easily and quickly be done on the computer. Just if you feel like it.

@Ac_K

Are you ging to build in support for this in a next update for AmiiBomb?

Thanks

Yeah, maybe not, but that's really not what's being discussed here. If you have a jailbroken phone you can possibly write tags with it now.

is there a tutorial? The NFC writer app is obviously not programmed to take amiibo_keys.bin and do anything with it...

You have to rename amiibo_keys.bin to key_retail.bin and it should work, place it in the same folder where AmiiBomb.exe is or a subfolder called Keys
Start AmiiBomb.exe and select "Options" -> "Keys" -> "Select Amiibo Key File" and browse to where it is located

I bought the app last night, I think as it stands it may only be viable for cloning? Although, I'm not sure how it will handle locking the ntag.

I don't see a way to use amiibo_keys, but I'll try a clone in a bit.

Bought what app? AmiiBomb is free as far as i know. You need to buy the hardware
About the keys, i've editted my previous post on how to use them in AmiiBomb

Yeah we are talking about the nfcwriter app for iPhone, I've been cloning amiibos with my Arduino and Android for quite some time now.

EDITED: The original post is now under a spoiler tag because I finally found the processor chip for my Uno R3. It works perfectly for the Uno, just not for the Mega.

Ok, so I have an Arduino Mega 2560 and an RFID-RC522. I've wired them together as specified in this image:

Using the equivalent pins 9-13, 3.3v power and GND.

Then I load up AmiiBomb and open up the Amiibombuino Flasher and get this once I've flashed:

Which should mean everything is all good, but when I go to flash an Amiibo...

No matter if I use one of the NTAG215 stickers, the card that came with the board, or the keyfob that came with the board, or even a spare Lego Dimensions tag I have laying around, I get no response from the board.

I've checked all connections, the power light on the RC522 is lit, and everything should be working. But it's not.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey,
I know next to nothing about Arduino chips and while I saw a few links to bundles in this thread, I'd like to keep the price affordable.
Can someone please tell me if this tutorial would work with the following components?

You need NTAG215, these won't work

That's it then, Because I'm testing with the card that came in the kit, because my NTAG have not arrived yet. Thank you very much

Arrived some tags already recorded with amiibos for me to test. But when I go in dump amiibo ... it is only in the screen of "awaited ntag" ... Does anyone know what is going wrong?

@K3Nv2 Snow Day is pretty fun. My only bitch would be the camera controls, when you move around, say down, you have to move the right stick left or right to get camera to turn and get your view, other than that I like it so far.

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it

I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates
