Probably to match the controller's curvature. The official Wii U pro controller is like this, too. I'm guessing it's the same with the Switch one.Eww... why are the face buttons curved?

No thanks. I think I will wait and buy the pro super famicon controller from 8 bitdo instead. visually their controllers more appealing then both the hori and official pros. For what it is worth, I expect Nintendo controllers to look flashy compared to the other guys but still function 100% longer before needing a replacement.
USB port?Thw only thing I don't get is; where is this plugged into?

I was asking becuase theres a number of USB ports on the Switch. i.e; bottom, on top, in the dock, etc...The dock..
The NES30 Pro and SFC30 Pro both look really good but the shoulder and trigger buttons are next to each other so I'm not sure I'd like that, personally. No thanks. here's a review from a Japanese lad who got one early
Yep. If you count the joy cons as two, I have five controllers for my Switch now that I've bought a GC USB adapter. That's added to a Switch Pro and a NES30 Pro.Nintendo has effectively killed majority of potential buyers for this controller thanks to the new firmware update.
