This thread is useless. You could literally make any suggestion you wish. The Switch isn't even hacked yet and I doubt it will be since there aren't many apps to find possible exploits from. Not anytime soon at least. Stop getting your hopes up.
Oh, sorry. I won't make threads about recommending anything AFTER the Switch is hacked, okay? I already wrote it in the original thread, I'll quote myself now:
After homebrew will come on the Switch

No, because the Switch isn't hacked.

EDIT: If its working on Nvidia Shield then why wouldn't it work on Switch? No reason to ask. And yes, once hacked it can be ported to Switch. (Weird question to ask)

You don't understand.. He said "Do you want...?" and that's the question. Yes or no. Thats not so hard. :)

You're 3 months late to to say that i made an error in what i thought he said, not so hard to read the comment after mine.
And yes, that's why i made that edit post that you didn't see, its not hard to edit, nor its hard to not be nice to others. Everyone can learn a thing from others :)

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

it's the same hardware but different OS
i guess it won't be too hard, but you still have to port the libraries, dependencies and whatnot
As long as it has the juice, its gonna be fine. Its gonna take years to hack the Switch tho.

That's exactly what I am talking about. What even makes you so sure that the Switch will be ever hacked in the first place? We could sit down and start making baseless predictions and talk about what homebrew we would like to see, only for the Switch to never get hacked.

The fact that there is a "Switch hacking and homebrew" section on this forum. Using your logic, it seems no thread in the section makes sense. Go and play some Animal Crossing on your unmodded 3DS.

Well, you can always speak way too soon about anything. It doesn't even mean that what you want to happen will happen.

Also, I've hacked three 3DS systems. Not that it's important. Keep having premature hopes.

I haven't been gaming for such a long time. Been mostly busy with sleep, hardware tinkering and checking GBAtemp frequently.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Hope you've had a good morning.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
It's going alright thanks :) I know what you mean with gaming time. It's precious where I can get it these days.

    How are you doing?

There's also this thing where I'm hyperfocused at night and cannot get to sleep.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Maximumbeans, I'm doing alright, thanks.

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.

@Maximumbeans, I had a friend who had a glass chess set for their birthday.

It was like all clear and fancy. Tbf I'm not too experienced with chess, but would like to learn someday.
