it worked and Didnt work for me, Justed picked one up from a local Retro gaming shop called "Nerdtopia" i'm guessing this had atleast one point previously modded because w/ everything on SD it booted to BootMii i thought odd and continued to Wii Menu, tried to LetterBomb (Wibrand) and no Letters from "yesterday" showe dup, restarted the wii got back to bootmii screen and loaded the bootmini.elf and installed bootmii and Homebrew Channelthat way.

God its been ages since i had a Wii, almost 9 years ago! i had 2 modded ones, 1 would read only Wii discs and not GC discs, and the other was the exact opposite it'd read GC Discs but not Wii Discs! now i can play Pokemon Gale of Darkness w/ cheats! (dolphin lags like fuck on my AMD APU rig)

I was trying to use modmii today to set up neek2o and when I tried to use the program it said I wasn't connected to the Internet and to check my firewall settings.

I tried it on a couple different computers in my house. I guess it's a network issue but I couldn't figure it out. Anyone have any advice for me?

Hey guys, I ran into a weird issue when running the latest version of Modmii (and Modmii skin)

First time I used "Modmii Skin" and answered everything the way it should be. I received a total of 47 WADs.

Then I decided to try the regular Modmii because all the tutorials seem to indicate to use this one. I answered everything identical but this time I noticed that in the HBC, 1 or 2 items are missing compared to when I used the "Skin" version. Also the total number of WADs drastically reduced this time, to a total of 20.

Just wondering if I should redo it with Modmi Skin gui, or just go ahead with what I have now? Will there be any problem with that many less WADs???

Thanks so much!!

neek2o r96 doesn't work properly (at least from SD) unless you have your NAND dump in /nands/<whatever>

It just ends up writing to the root of the SD and failing to boot otherwise.

Hi

I've got a Wii which I softmodded some time ago and updated a while back to get rockband 3 which I purchased with the keytar for a silly price :-) I'd like to update my mod and look at options for neek2o / emunand as we're getting into some virtual console games and using the real wii nand scares the life out of me!

I posted a syscheck in the 'post a syscheck' thread: https://gbatemp.net/threads/posting-a-system-check.300279/page-5#post-7170458

Could someone help walk me though what I need to do, I updated prii-loader and my homebrew channel but still have a lot of dross on my sd card which I can't remember if I really need or not - I think last update I did involved multi-mod manager

ok so Miimod worked great however when I used it for Sneek it crashed at the very last process when a new 'showmiiwads' window opens it crashed on that then asked if I want to cancel the operation i typed 'n' in the blue window and it crashed again on the very last 'modmiiclassic' window with the car. Guess I'll have to try again :/

Good tool though pretty straight forward.

Edit: so tried to do Neek twice now and always crashing right at the end of showmiiwads, although this time it did finish the last process once I exited the showmiiwads window, would it be better to install the wads once I boot it up in the wii ?

Finally got it all set up (neek) but once went through the settings in Neek I got a black screen not sure what I did wrong but neek is not working for me, besides that modmii is great.

Anyone got any idea when modmii is coming back online.
Goes to a landing page, and the offical app wont install because it can't download required files.

Download it from sourceforge. or use SetMiiUp.

Thanks Dreamz. Sorry, I should have been more precise.
I'm unable to install ModMii as it looks like the server backend where the installer pulls the files from are all offline, so when I install it, it says it fails and to check the internet and try again.
I've tried from different locations too. Is xflak still supporting this does anyone know?

Had the same issue. Changed my installation path to the default of C:/ModMii
And changed my download path to the default of C:/ModMii/SD

Everything started working after that

uh, when i start ModMii.exe, it just crashes.

Sounds like the project is abandoned. The originating website is just a landing page, the installer cannot retrieve the correct files and just fails during installation, and no-one is answering any questions on this really. No idea where xflak is, so one would assume that it's a dead duck.

Works fine here, using the base for SetMiiUp without issues.
