Gaming MK8 Deluxe Needs to Remove Flags in Races!!!

Okay i don't know if it's just me but in the North American server there's very few Canadians when compared to Americans, I often feel in matches people are gunning me down because of my country flag and not my screen name.

9 out 10 times I'm in a room with only maybe 1-2 Canadians on-board and it feels like we are getting gunned down because of our country flag in races, I don't mind the country flag at the loading screen when it shows all 1-12 players going into the race but in the race itself it's so much easier to spot a flag rather than a character or screen name.

Are you really victimizing yourself in a video game? Imo it's pretty hard to specifically gun down a person. Most often you are just being attacked because the person behind you wants to win, not because you are Canadian. Chances are you are either getting hit more because you are in a higher place in the race, or everyone is also getting hit approximately the same but you either need to get good or just have some bad rng

Maybe it's just me, with Worldwide server it seems people are playing more evenly.

I can almost swear I been too so many rooms where they playing the protect the 1st lead play, yes Americans.

You're putting our national cool-guy personality on the line with this topic, man. We're the ones who take others making fun of us or bashing us, temporarily agree with them and add an extra joke or two, then proceed to do what we can to have common ground and maybe eventually be friends.


I played a match of Rocket League in which I was doing horrible that day and some guy proceeded to attack me on how bad I was and included my country in part of the blame. I just kept replying the automatic message "Thanks!" and then later messaged his profile apologizing if I made him upset and if we could communicate it through. Now he respects me and we're PS4 friends.

In a game as hectic as MK8 Deluxe with double items regardless where you are in the race I'm sure it feels like you're being gunned down.
Shells are flying all over the place, man. To think that people's main concern is gunning you in particular down and not getting first place is just crazy.
