Gaming Nintendo to Release Splatoon Editions of the Pro Controller and the Switch Console

Not sure if this was on the recent Nintendo Direct but guessing it wasn't 'cause no one seemed to point it out (or that I had noticed). Anyhow, here they are.

The Splatoon Pro Controller looks pretty awesome but already have one and for the price that I got it, I'm not really one to fuss about its colours. Nice of Nintendo to finally put coloured Pro Controllers out there.

Agreed but this one feels more Nintendo-y than the black one. The all-black Pro Controller could be mistook for an Xbox controller while this coloured Pro Controller shows the colours of Splatoon and has the colour splats on the plastic skin.

Definitely going to try and get my hands on this. Currently I own 2 extra joycons, the charging grip and a pro controller; a 4th full controller will probably come in handy.

It's not quite a Splatoon edition, but I'd love to pick up the Neon Green and Neon Pink Joy-Con that were also announced. Too bad it wasn't announced for North America yet. (Yes, it can be imported, but... Is that really worth it? )

Yup, though Japan's bundle is slightly different. The Japanese bundle includes the Neon Green and Neon Pink Joy-Con, not Neon Blue and Neon Red.

Those neon coloured Joy-Cons look really nice and that's coming from someone who doesn't necessarily care about the colour of accessories.
