CemUI is a simplistic, open source launcher "hub" for the Cemu WiiU emulator that stores your Cemu games in a nice easy-to-access fashion, developed and maintained by RedDucks and MrIlliteracy. CemUI is still in heavy development and may be unstable at times (mainly when using developer builds). There are many features planned not yet implemented.

Download and source code: https://github.com/RedDuckss/CemUI
Website (currently redirects to the GitHub): https://cemui.com

Please note that the API being used for downloading the game data is custom and incomplete. Please be aware that there may be conflicts that will effect the cover art and description loading. The API currently contains 3,113 title ID's, all of which have the correct game title. However not every entry has (though most main-stream ones do):
  • A game cover
  • A background image
  • A game overview
  • A game overview
  • An ESRB rating
  • Player count
In the event that a game does not have one or more missing pieces of data, placeholder data will be used. All games will load properly regardless of the API response. To reload games, in order to attempt to re-download the proper data, change the "Games" folder to the same folder. This will trigger a re-download.

If you use this program, and find that one or more games have missing/incorrect data (of any kind), please comment it here, create an issue on the GitHub repo, or contact either MrIlliteracy or I (best done on Discord) about the issue. We will add the relevant data right away.

Currently implemented features include:
  • Launching games
  • SMM (Super Mario Maker) level managing
  • Viewing games in a box and list mode
  • Tracking play time
  • Displaying relevant game data such as ESRB rating, number of players, and compatibility level with Cemu
  • many other, minor features and additions
A few planned features include:
  • Controller testing/support
  • Steam "big picture" style view option
  • Additional themes
  • Ability to launch Cemu in full screen
  • Multiple Cemu "instances"
  • Support for Decaf
  • Many other, minor planned features

Disclaimer:

What it does do:

Everything listed above plus more, along with planned features.

What it does NOT do:

CemUI does not download games/ROMs or relating data (DLC/updates) from the internet. Although this functionality could be added, and I was working on implementing it in an earlier build, the legal uncertainties prevented me from fully adding it.

Nice work.
You can also add those pirate features to another CemUI build [Like CemUIPirate] then upload it to that chaos site but that's just my idea. Not telling you to do it, but it's a possibility.
Keep up the good work!

SMM (Super Mario Maker) level managing has been added :D you can now search for SMM levels and download them for use on Cemu.

how can I change the game library? I selected the wrong one at first and now even after I uninstall the prgram it won't give me the option to choose a new location when I start re-install and start the setup tool

As of right now, there isn't a way to change the folder within the UI itself (since the 2.0 rewrite is still early and in alpha, a lot of key features are missing). To change the folder you can navigate to `%appdata%/CemUI/app_data` and edit the `settings.json` file in the cache

CemUI "create desktop shortcut"not working and it isn't detecting my GPU, But I can still play using CemUI

What game are you trying to make a shortcut for, and what region (EUR, USA, or JPN) is it from? There is a known issue with games that have Japanese characters not being compatible with the shortcut making, and I have been working on a fix. Also as of the latest release (CemUI 2.3.3) I have removed the GPU warning as it was actually detecting the integrated GPU, and not the real GPU (so it gave false positives).

Also for any future issues please report them on the GitHub issue tracker https://github.com/RedDuckss/CemUI/issues (and please make an issue there for these issues you just reported).

Im using now the new CemUI 2.3.3 and Cemu 1.11.0c, Zelda BotW USA and Xenoblade Chronicles X USA and probably any other will not create the shortcut too, not sure what happens, the games are detected and can be played, and covers are downloaded.

Please create an issue report here https://github.com/RedDuckss/CemUI/issues, I am more than happy to continue helping but I would prefer all issue reports remain in one spot for the sake of organization.

`C:\Users\"name"\Desktop` and `\Desktop` are the same path (depending on who you are logged in as). Going to `\Desktop` is just a shortcut to `C:\Users\"name"\Desktop`, where "name" is the currently logged in user. For example, if you're logged in as "Jon", then going to `\Desktop` is the same as going to `C:\Users\Jon\Desktop`
