Hermes is an extraordinary Jump'n Run game covering bad taste humour. If you feel offended by crude and dirty humour you may run away now. The game also features pixel violence and promotes the consumption of meat. If you are a hardcore vegetarian, you might very much dislike the game or just have a good laugh.

Storyline

Hermes, at least this is how his friends call him, is living in France, the country of love, but also the country known for it's exquisite cuisine. One day Hermes had mood for a nice chicken leg, certainly a real men like Hermes, won't go to the super market and get pre-packed chicken, no... it has to be a real one, slaughtered off by his own hand. This is, where our story starts...

Chase the escaped chicken to catch it and prepare a great grilled leg piece you ever wont forget! Yummi! But hell... that chicken for sure is fast!

Hermes Features

* Hand set pixels!
* Amiga chiptunes!
* Score tracking!
* 32 levels!
* Hidden warp zones!
* Boss fight!

The game is released in 3dsx and Cia formats. The code is closed source and copyright of Retroguru (www.retroguru.com)

This sounds like an interesting game and I'll give it a go once I finish my coursework.

Also, "exquisite cousin" --> "exquisite cuisine"

don't forget to give us your feedback :) looking forward to it.
From what i have been playing it (~15-20 minutes) I am hooked playing it. I haven't seen anything bad from it and I like how well the game is made!

I would totally recommend people to at least try it, it's a good game :D:yay3ds:

Thank you. I hope you like it.
I do like it. I think there may be a bug though. When starting the level if you are holding a direction before the level starts it doesn't register the keystroke.
Anyone else tried the game yet? Feedback is important so we can set up ports for other systems like Dreamcast :)
Definitely a fun game. The controls take a bit to get ahold of as the movements are erratic but other than that it's "challengingly fun". :)

3dsx doesn't works for me...

I tested the game on several 3ds (new and old model), in cia and 3dsx format. But all of them was with Luma CFW and fw 11.2.

What's your configuration?

I do like it. I think there may be a bug though. When starting the level if you are holding a direction before the level starts it doesn't register the keystroke.

I's not a bug, but it's how the game engine works. If you start the level with the left direction pressed the character doesn't move, you have to release the key and press it again. But if you don't move, the chicken doesn't escape, it's designed this way. I noticed it when played the game the first times, but when you get used to it, doesn't seem a problem.

Anyway I'll this discuss this with the game engine coder to evaluate if it's something to change or to leave as is.
