Secretly teased since last week, SEGA created a countdown timer to lead up to the reveal of the game coming to PC. Bayonetta's PC port includes higher quality textures and 4K resolution support. There will also be a digital deluxe version of the game, which includes some of the soundtrack, and a digital artbook, for no extra cost, during the initial launch week.

Maybe it's just a really really long timed exclusive, it could come out for other consoles soon. But whoop, can't wait to play Bayonetta for the first time. :D

Considering Nintendo funded Bayonetta 2 and is the only reason it exists...no probably not. Nintendo wont ever give it up.

"Mario will never be on a non-Nintendo platform"
"Fire Emblem will never be on a non-Nintendo platform"

Oh, what's that? Mario is on smartphones now? FE is on smartphones? Jeez. The company I'm so loyal to has betrayed me. :(
If you compare any of this games to the "ported" versions on smartphones, you'll see your point is irrelevant, FE is trash on smartphones, Mario Run is decent but basic AF like a 10% demo of any super mario on Wii/WiiU/DS/3DS...
Of course they expended they market, but only to sell more Nintendo software and hardware with demos on smartphones...
Bayonetta 2 will never be on PC, nintendo funded majority of it, they own a big percent of the game.

All we need now is

the unlikely bayonetta 2
Tokyo mirage sessions
and the highly unlikely Xenoblade Chronicles X
and then shenmue hd ports

cough em up Sega

Tokyo Mirage Sessions and Xenoblade would never come to PC. Fire Emblem is involved and isn't Xenoblade Nintendo's as well?

Cause is a old game, and i'm not completely sure why it was ported to wii u but my guess was to help sell the console. I just think most people have played it by now. But question like "Why wasn't this done sooner?" is important to note. Why would it be done now of all times?

So i dunno, maybe is just me, if my opinion bothers anyone, ignore me. I'm used to this kind of thing all my life anyway. Is probably the same people who bought the game on console already buying it and playing it again, cause it nows has 60FPS and 4K and such.

Actually Platinum Games said they would never port it to Steam but i guess once they started to roll the right way with Valve (there's even exclusive DLC with Nier) they ported it in the end with Sega.
So yeah, it didn't happen before because they hated the platform. I'm glad it came on PC, wouldn't want to play anywhere else myself.

I think it's cool it got a port, now more people can play this amazing game. Plus in all console versions there's some instances where there's some lag so at least in this version you can expect smooth framerate anywhere and everywhere assuming you have a computer powerful enough :)
