I have not tried but i dont think it will work since AMP's editor is designed for MHGen , not MHX or MHXX. They changed around somethings which is why a MHX save is not the same as a MHGen save.

We just need an updated MHX editor that uses the new vaules and that the new items are inculded.

friend of mine tried to edit mhxx save data using apm app
and it crashed.

looks like someone has made a save editor for mhxx on a Chinese forum http://bbs.duowan.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=45514240&page=4&authorid=8086033 but to download it you need an account( i tried making one but failed at SMS confirmation...

As i said before, making a MHXX editor is very easy as you just need to update a MHX editor with the new vaules. Also it seems like the MHXX/MHX charm editor was taken from GBAtemps.

If you want to use the item box editor , then remember the format is X:Y~Z.

X = being the postion of the item in the box.
Y = being the vaule ID of the first item you want
Z = being the value ID of the last item you want

So the very first slot of the box is just 1 and the last slot is 2300. As i dont have the item list , i dont know the new id list for MHXX. But if you want most items then use the command 1:1~2300. This is ONLY if you have all 23 box pages open. If you only have 10, then use 1000. 14 would be 1400 and so on.

If you dont want your old items to be effect, then use the command 1401:1401~2300.

mhx, mhgen, mhxx store the saves in the extra data

JKsave manager works. Export the extra data and copy over the "system" file over to your computer. Use a ftp program to make it easier. After that, open up the system file on the MHXX basic editor app.
The first button is the "Open" button to select your file.
The Second button allows you to edit Name/zenny and other hunter releated options.
The Third button allows you to edit Item box which is the one you want. That is where you use the x:y-z format to get the items you want.

There's actually two programs from the chinese link. Can you get the Talisman editor as well? (I can't download it)
