:rofl2::rofl2::rofl2::rofl2::rofl2:

I bearly notice the MUSIC. But i am interested in the concept art, i hope it looks better than how i see it in the game. Some of the different species of characters in the game are.... a Sight.... to behold.... (GREAT FAIRY FOUNTAIN ANYONE?) :creep:

I mostly wanna hear what Miyamoto and Anomura has to say about the game.

"So we started to make the game for the WiiU but then the WiiU crapped out so we had to port it to the Switch so we would get a chance to sell more than 3 copies. It had always been our glorious vision to release it on the Switch as well as WiiU."

I really want an interview with the guy that decided to not give us the option to switch the language of the game and not include the japanese voice acting in US and EU versions of the game. Would like to see his cognitive process in all of this and why he is not fired yet.

Well, I have no words to say. Nor would they be positive.
Why, they are making a video series about the production of a game that is being considered by the media and fans as one of the best games from the last few years? Why the heck would anyone be negative toward that? I get people not caring about it but why do you care enough to be negative about it?

Oh, I love the game. But, what is the need of a documentary?

Mr. Programmer: "If we remove the Japanese voices we can use a card smaller than 16GB, we save a couple pennies. More profit!"
Nintendo Board: "Mr. Programmer, you are promoted!"

The voice files for one language are literally 100mb, the Switch version has about 13gb if I'm not mistaken, so they would need to add 30 additional voice languages in order to pass the 16gb mark. The "we didn't have enough space" meme does not work for this game, they have no excuse.

You know they have 1000s excuses to pull out of the hat, don't you? Do you realize?
Stupid things like: "it may confuse users", "it may split the experience in our western userbase", "we should pay our seiyuus extra money for international distribution rights", etc. etc. etc.

Because after dolls, T-shirts, amiibo's, plastic swords and lunch boxes, someone probably decided that adults are a relatively untapped market when it comes to milking a franchised game. ;)

...but don't get me wrong: I'm actually positive about this. Aside from the typical infotainment for the gamer audience, there's a whole industry geared towards making games. Either indie developer or management executive from an AAA-studio, a documentary about one of the best games of current times* could help them on their own projects as well. :)

*I know this sounds like typical fanboy-ism, but there's no denying that it's at the very least better than the average game. I'm not a fan of call of duty or fifa, but I'd applaud it if there were documentaries about these games too.

It's fine for us Wii U users, cause we already undubbed the game and restored the original japanese voice acting while having english subtitles, but I feel sorry for the Switch users.
