This tutorial will help you make your 3DS ignore button presses on boot, without an SD card or with a fresh SD card by putting a modified Luma3DS arm9loaderhax.bin file on your system's CTR NAND.

What you will need:
-The "kecleon.zip" I put down there ↓
-A fresh SD card (optional)

Instructions:
-Download the "kecleon.zip"

-Copy the contents onto your SD card (the one that you regularly use)

-Insert the SD card back into your 3DS and go to FBI

-Select "SD" then find "kecleon"

-Press A on "kecleon" then select "Copy"

-Now, press B twice to go back

-Select "CTR NAND" (if it gives you a warning, press a)

-Select "Current directory" it should be on the top of the bottom screen.

-Select "Paste"

-When that is done, turn off your 3DS and if you want to, put in a fresh SD card (This will be for games if you want to join a Pokemon Tournament or give it to a friend.)

-Press and hold "Select" and turn it on without the SD card in, or a fresh SD card.

-Luma Settings should pop up. Enable "Autoboot SysNAND", "Save config.bin in CTRNAND", "Disable Region-Free/Flashcart patches", and "Ignore all Button Presses on boot". Make sure that "Show NAND or using string in System Settings" is disabled.

-After that, press "Start", and it should behave like a non-cfw'd 3DS.

Ask me if you have any questions.

So what are the chances someone isn't reading this right now? :creep:

Yes i can see this is helpful to some and i appreciate it as well, so thank you for the tutorial. Though i'm confused, is luma receiving updates or not? I keep checking and i had the same 6.6 for months now so i'm confused. I heard that it supposed to support ips patching for rom hacks and other features people make tutorial videos about but i can't use them features, mine has none of it.

Great tut, only thing is that you should link to the Kecleon Patch Thread instead of giving the zip file

Ah yes, thanks. I'll add that. The reason why I gave the .zip file is because the contents of it you can just drag and drop onto the SD card. It makes it easier for the person who is following this tutorial and for me. I have added the link to the thread for credit.

OP, have you heard of SaltFW? Its basically a striped down version of luma, with the bare minimal patches.

I'm telling you this, because its way better than the Kelcon patch...

This is for Luma users. Besides, this is much easier than doing that. A lot of people use Luma. Also, it removes a lot of useful features from Luma.
