Miyamoto reveals Link's last name!

Capture.JPG

In a recent Game Informer interview, Nintendo legends Shigeru Miyamoto and Eiji Aonuma were asked 51 questions (and gave 51 answers) about The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild.

One of them was the burning question of many Zelda fans; does Link have a last name? And the answer is... (drum roll please)... Link! Yes, our green tunic-clad, pointy-eared protagonist is called Link Link. Miyamoto says it's because Link is not human (*gasp!* :O). And oh, it's same with Mario (it's-a me, Mario Mario!).

Check out the full 4 minute interview below, it's pretty fun, with several trivia revealed by two of the gaming industry's legends:

Just like when Miyamoto answered who's Bowser jr's mom and he just pointed at himself. What, you gave birth to him? I know he's technically right, but still
Bet Ganondorf's last name is the same thing. Ganondorf Ganondorf. So every other character that doesn't have a last name.

Just go fuck yerself, Miyamoto.

Actually people don't realize that they were trolling. Miyamoto debunked the fact that his name is Mario Mario and it's just Mario. They knew where the Mario Mario name came from so they made fun of it. They were telling the truth when they said "it's the same as Mario's.

They were clearly just messing with him. And he didn't ask the most important question of all about this game: "At what point in your playthrough of Skyrim did you decide to make Zelda into the exact same thing?"

BOTW is more like good games of a similar style rather than the piece of shit that is skyrim.

It's more like a Dark Souls lite with some survival thrown in.

It's actually Ganondorf Dragmire.
It ain't ganon canon.
Zeldawiki said:
When A Link to the Past was released, Ganon's human form Ganondorf was introduced. However, because Nintendo of America decided to give their own twist to the story in the translation, "Ganondorf" ended up with a surname: Ganondorf Dragmire. This name has only been used in the Western manuals of A Link to the Past for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Similarly, "Ganon" was given the name Mandrag Ganon, which supposedly means "Ganon of the Enchanted Thieves." These names do not appear in later games or re-releases of A Link to the Past.
Still, it would be a cool surname.
