Yep, with the latest versioncan you autoboot directly into vwii with cbhc?
suuuweet, i think i will go ahead and install it then !Yep, with the latest version

i do not want to brick my Wii U ! soo
well i read the FAQ in this thread and it is well written, but i want to make 100% sure !
so i installed the iosu thingie some months ago and i have my fw.img in the root of my SD card, and i tested it through the loadine.ovh site iirc. and it loaded (DLC's i had installed for my retail disc of MK8) just fine !
so what i did yesterday was , i purchased brain age NDS game and then i installed Haxchi , the brain age icon turned into the Haxchi one and so what i did then i went on ahead and tested it out.
i edited the config text from haxchi to load fw.img as default and so when i started haxchi it started my fw img and i ran MK8 and it loaded up the DLC's just fine , this means my Haxchi is ready for cbhc? so i can install cbhc over it safely now , i need to do nothing more but place the cbhc folder in root and the wiiu/app/cbhc then Homebrew menu and installing done ?
i noticed that in the cbhc folder that should go to the root of SD card has similar files to the haxchi folder that had to go to the root of SD card, what should i do with the haxchi one? should i keep them in my SD?
thanks!
So, fw.imgs are a bit outdated... The best thing is:
With Haxchi: set "default=sysmenu"
With CBHC: set "Autoboot: System Menu"
Without those: setup Mocha CFW
In your situation, well... you could run the CBHC installer, install, then at boot set Autoboot: System Menu and you're done...
You could even boot without an SD
So, if you set "Autoboot" it will only show "Autobooting ...... in 5 seconds" and in that period you can press HOME to return to the "CBHC menu"nice, so if i installed cbhc, will i always see that black menu of its options when i boot my wii u ?
or will it only appear when i hold a button pressed?
and is the option to load straight into vwii upon boot available in the black menu of its options now ?

I never tried those things.... but there's an homebrew app called SDCafiine for HBL so... maybe?thanks , is there an app file for SDcaffine+Kernel ? i used that option in loadine ovh mainly to enable my SSB mods.
it would be nice to be able to autoboot with SDCaffine, but is it possible?

CBHC will bypass the region check that occurs when you start the title. Whether the title works or not depends on if the title includes the expected language files for your console's region and language. The loadiine compatibility list points out some of the problem titles. With CBHC my wiiu is region free ?
It won't prevent a brick. If the title you installed CHBC on is deleted, the console will try to launch that nonexistent title, and will fail to do so.As I got a 15 Euro prepaid eShop card, I bought me both Brain Training as well as Yoshi Touch&Go, as they are both 7 Euro.
With two games, is it also usefull and/or possible to install Haxchi on one of those games and then Haxchi + CBHC update on the other game?
For example, would this also prevent an accidental brick if one of those two would be deleted, and the other would still be on the WiiU? Completely hypothetical ofcourse, but as I got a little kid that will start to use the WiiU somewhere down the line, just asking...
If you don't install CBHC, then the WiiU will still start up to the WiiU Menu title, so deleting one or both of the Haxchi titles won't matter. Since it doesn't matter whether those titles exist, it doesn't matter if one of them happened to be configured to run Mocha. How about when on both games I bought, I install Hatchi. If one gets deleted, the other still works right. And no brick then, as CHBC is not installed on either?
Same question, but then with Mocha CFW installed after Haxchi, brick or no brick when one of the Haxchi games gets deleted?
as its CHBC that causes this problem, when the modified game is removed and the console keeps searching for that missing file going into a continue circle of not being able to find and thus fail/brick... Isn't there a way to get that booting payload to say if A is not there, do B? Which is booting into the normal system menu, or Mocha or whatever might be possible?
