Hi Fledge68, thanks for your answer, but the "Start" GC button doesn't trigger "Home" Wiimote button, so it seems that there is no way to do what I asked.

Hi Guys,
Been away for a few years, but pulled out my Wii and updated it to latest cIOS with Modmii.
Used WiiBackupManager to copy all my .wbfs files back to a HDD (1 FAT32 / 1 NTFS)
I can start WiiFlow, and all the games show up, but when i try to play one it goes back to sysmenu after about 10 seconds...
Any ideas?

I was using Wiiflow Lite 4.4 to upgrade a Cios (using Pimp My Wii 3.03). Oh, it kind of fell apart. I put it to use Cios force and from then on, whenever the start of the Wiiflow Lite it gives message: "No pps / Wiiflow directory found!"

• I tried putting the files back;
• Format the SD;
• Reinstall the shortcuts;
• I tested other versions of wiifliw;
• The Wiiflow 4.2.1 error for the Exception DSI (black screen) at startup.

The USB Charger GX and CFG Configuration normally set.

Did you try deleting the Wii's wiiflow save file?

I've had some similar problems in the past with what I assumed was a corrupted save file.

My WiiFlow always crashes on startup on a Black Screen and I have to cut the power to Power Off the Wii U!
Is there a way to reset and make it work again?
I am using CGF USB Loader to load games from SD because I can't use the WiiFlow anymore

I have tried several solutions:
1-Use a previous wiiflow Backup (I always back up SD files)
2-Use Wiiflow from previous versions
3-Form SD and put it all back
4-Delete the Wiiflow cache folder and config.txr file
5-Delete Wiiflow folder from external HD
6-Update CiOs by Pimp My Wii v3.0.3

But none of these possible alternatives solved.

pimp my wii probably screwed it up. never use pimp my wii.
try redownloading wiiflow lite and extract it to apps/wiiflow_lite

edit: also i don't know why your syscheck says all your cios's have keine patches (no patches).
how did you install cios without patches?

I have no idea how the Cios are installed and without patches. I know I've unlocked it for a long time, and I've only updated the emulators and loaders.

go to your wii settings and data management and find the wiiflow save and delete it. don't worry wiiflow will create a new one.

It wouldn't hurt to post a directory listing of the device your apps folder is on, either. You can use "dir /s > dirlist.txt" to do it in Windows but please put it in spoiler tags as it's probably going to be long. If you're worried about personal information in the contents of it you're welcome to PM it to me.

have not posted in here, regarding wiiflow.

i use this one as my main on my vwii (wiiu) it loads my wii games just fine except it just never does apply the aspect ratio '16:9' when i set it to that for the game i launch , it does not stretch the game to the size of my tv.

i use a 55' lg and i tried changing picture size on tv, nothing fully stretches the games, is there something i am missing ?

the settings in wiiflow itself, i have set video mode to 'system' i have not touched anything else other than choosing the game paths set to my SD card.

and i checked my vwii with MMM (Multimodmanager) the vwii settings show in there that the res is 480p and the aspect ratio 16:9.

the homebrew apps show in fullscreen for me, for instance when i launch the forwarder (channel) of wiiflow from my vwii menu it launches it Fullscreen'd.
but when i launch a game with it, they just won't go fullscreen, most of the games i tried won't but Skyward Sword is almost fullscreen, and that is not by touching any setttings ( i believe the settings do not take effect at all.)

Does this ROM work with Mi5S Plus?

Guys,
I was able to solve my Wiiflow problem. I made the suggestions given here:
I installed the Cios v8 250 and v8 249.
I deleted the Wiiflow folder from HD and SD
I deleted Wiiflow's Know (I did not even know he created a save).

And it's back up again, both v4.2.1 and Lite 4.4.0

My apologies if this has been asked before. After over a week of searching, it seems I cannot find an answer anywhere.

How does one use a custom banner in Wiiflow? At this point, I've tried many different possible solutions and none seem to work. With USB Loader GX, it is a relatively straight forward process: replace the cached banner with the custom banner and it works just fine. However, when I tried this with Wiiflow, the original banner continues to load.

Any thoughts?

Hello all,

Hoping someone can help me out with a problem I'm running into.

I am in the process of setting everything up on a Wii U. I have CFW on Wii U with games installed to a USB HDD. I also have a USB HDD set up for Wii Backups on my vWii.

The problem is, when both HDDs are plugged in at the same time, Wiiflow cannot see my Wii Drive. This problem occurs regardless of what port my Wii HDD is plugged into. Everything works fine as soon as I unplug the Wii U HDD, but I would like to avoid unplugging and replugging whenever I want to switch.

I set up the Wii drive correctly with BootIce and have it hidden from the WiiU using U-Stealth. Literally everything works...Except when both drives are plugged in.

Any ideas on how I can make this work?

Hi i just installed wiiflow with a bunch of emulator plugins and i got everything setup fine except wii games wont boot. It just sends me back to the wii menu every time. I've looked around the internet for solutions but nothing has worked for me.

Anyone know what's wrong? I'm so close lol
