Anyway clicking on the daily mail is not going to happen here, can you tell me whether this is the good kind of cancer that hits at the age of 60 or so and prevents Alzheimer's from running its course or is it going to happen sooner?

Wasn't caffeine good for your body due to its antioxidants?

Caffeine is a stimulant and a vasoconstrictor, used in pain relief as an agent, you're thinking of dark chocolate lol. Too much caffeine can cause mild cardiac arrhythmia in high doses over a long period of time.

I did a quick check to make sure i wasnt being stupid, but yeah, it indeed has antioxidants. The problem is that drinking more than 1 cup per day is what kills you.

If you drink like 1 cup for 4 days every week, it won't matter but it will slighty helps your body with its shit and stuff.

Eh, plenty of other sources for antioxidants, people can still develop a tolerance and dependence on it; my sister used to be quite dependent on caffeine, she stopped cold turkey before getting pregnant and it was hard, kept getting muscular twitches and the like.
Same with her husband, used to consume two or so "energy" drinks per day, it was hard but he's doing fine. Chocolate may have caffeine, but it's the theobromine (the alkaloid similar to caffeine) that we get hooked to, and the sugar. Sugar is also addictive, but I digress :P I'll be careful with any kind of potentially addictive substance like caffeine XD It is useful for pain relief however.

that's the thing, we need to be responsible with the quantity of what we eat or drink. Drinking too much water can kill you too, funny, isn't it?

Yup, water intoxication, though it is extremely rare and pretty hard to get, the body will usually forcibly vomit, well, usually lol.

I had a girlfriend who had a twin sister and they would mess with me constantly.... Until one chipped a tooth then finally I could tell them apart.... Lol

@The Real Jdbye, I could see AMD trying to pull off the CPU GPU tandem thing, would be a way to maybe close the gap a bit with Nvidia. Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
i don't think nvidia wants to get in the x64 cpu market anyways

you've seen how much intel is struggling getting into the gpu market

and nvidia is already doing ARM

i don't think they want to take more focus away from their gpus

Yeah I think Nvidia s future lays in AI GPU acceleration stuff if they can get that going it's going to be super interesting in the long term

@Psionic Roshambo AI assisted game creation is kinda already here, there was recently that AI that can turn any 2D image into a fully modeled 3D object, it's not perfect, but it's a starting point, beats starting from zero

  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
before that there was one to generate a fully modeled scene from a 2D image

  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but most recently, there was one that actually generates a working unity scene with terrain and textures already set up that you can import right into unity, that's a huge time saver right there
