I hope no outline mod/patch gets fixed.
God, my eyes are burning from the outlines.

There's no turning back once you start using it

Huh, for smpatcher. says unknown code.bin from when I did it before. Didn't decompress it and the patcher recognized the code.bin

Patched it. Launched with luma. still freezes. Tried the Luma Nightly. Works. But, outlines are there.

Edit 3: Back on regular luma. Followed these steps. Thanks to jojo3810 on reddit

Here's a guide on how to patch the v1.1 update code.bin:

  1. Boot into GodMode9/SafeMode9, and go to 'SYSNAND SD'
  2. Select 'title', then '0004000e', then either '00164800' (for Sun) or '00175e00' (for Moon).
  3. Select 'content', then press A on the .app file.
  4. Select 'NCCH image options', then select 'Mount image to drive'.
  5. On the bottom screen, select 'exefs', then press Y on the '.code' file to copy it.
  6. Press B until you're at the starting screen.
  7. Select 'SDCARD', then press Y to paste the .code file and A to confirm. You may wish to rename this file if you are going to extract both Sun and Moon's code.bin files.
  8. Patch the .code file using SMPatcher.exe. It'll tell you if you have the correct file when you patch the code.bin file.

Now if you just want the no outlines with no QR code. Follow the guide above for the code.bin. Now go to offset 31CFCC and from 31CFCC to 31CFCF replace 04 20 80 E5 with 00 F0 20 E3

Shiny Patch, Legendaries excluded. Go to 218AF3 and change 0A to EA

So... like the first question asked, I too am on Sys11.2.0-35U with Luma3DS v6.6 by AuroraWright (the official one) and I have no lines placed in my code sections folder but the game is stuck on the Nintendo 3DS loading screen. I updated to 1.1 like 10 mins ago.

You have to patch the code.bin from the 1.1 update. The old code.bin will no longer work.

It's been fixed for several hours now. Check ScireM's SMPatcher GitHub page.

I haven't been gaming for such a long time. Been mostly busy with sleep, hardware tinkering and checking GBAtemp frequently.

It's going alright thanks :) I know what you mean with gaming time. It's precious where I can get it these days.

I think that's why I focus on just enjoying single player experiences that aren't too competitive

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.
