I'm sure that I'm not the only one who thinks the Vita's lowest brightness setting is still too bright, right? Especially in low light, it's still far too much. I wonder if it'd be possible to have a program like F.lux ( https://justgetflux.com/ ) running in Henkaku. F.lux and other software like it changes the colors of the screen to a warmer tint based on the position of the sun, reducing eyestrain and preventing the blue light of electronic screens from keeping you awake late at night, and/or messing with your circadian rhythm.

With a short look at open-source alternatives to F.lux, I came across Redshift ( http://jonls.dk/redshift/ ), and the source is ready for porting. But, how conceivable is it to implement a lightweight background process that controls the temperature of the screen colors, with the access that Henkaku has to the Vita?

Keep in mind when you are going into the brightness settings of the back light of the Vita you do run the risk of changing something which would result in the backlight not functioning correctly... or at all. Given the number of threads of "I accidentally deleted all the files on my Vita" I wonder would such a homebrew be a good idea lol, I know at the end of the day derps can take any of the homebrew and ruin their console with it if they're really intent on doing that but still I feel a Vita with zero power going to the back light would be nearly impossible to see without the aid of a torch held against the screen to reverse possibly "derp"ing

My 3.60 Henkaku Vita's left D-pad button recently broke. To get around this, I've been using the reassign controls feature in the accessibility tab of the system settings.
Unfortunately, they don't let you reassign the left D-pad or any button to the select button.

I would greatly appreciate a homebrew app that lets me set the Left D-pad button to work at the press of the select button, or a combo button trigger (like hold L+select).
I know that I could always replace the left D-pad board on my Vita, but it seems like a huge pain in the butt to do so...trying to find a working part and taking the Vita apart.

My post will probably get ignored though as I am not a long time member and people have better homebrew to cook up, but I would very much appreciate a little homebrew program to rebind more keys for the Vita.

PC-98 Emulator is all i want. It's my understanding that there was more than 1 on psp and the vita seems like a perfect fit for it due to the better screen, second stick as a mouse option, and better hardware. I don't know anything about coding but the vita but PC-98 games aren't very power intensive and should be no problem from what i've read.

Would really be appreciated if someone could look into it

Is there a qr code scanner for psvita yet? Also maybe a way to connect usb camera to PSTV as well?:ninja:
I also forgot to mention, can someone make a standard HID bluetooth controller app so i can play my android games? It should include mouse support as well for android tv like Ouya, nvidia shield, amazon tv and others. Or maybe even other consoles like ps3 or psvita tv itself. :P

To be honest is bette in the case of android to use the XINPUT (xbox 360) as android seem to support that so well with a back and home button fully functional. But making it hid to work with other common stuff like the nintendon't or vwii HID compatible emulators.

An app to modify the local trophy files would be awesome. I'm kinda surprised there isn't one yet available.

Why would you want something like this? What would it be for? Obtaining all the trophies?

Can we get a app to turn your psvita to a bluetooth microphone or speaker for use with other bluetooth stuff? :)

It would be good if Vitashell could mount the memory card and internal memory at the same time.
This is because I would like to move save game over from internal memory to memory card. It would also be nice just to have the extra space for storage.

Just store the saves on a different partition other than UXO Then load the other storage (Remove memory card for internal, insert for memory card) And copy the files like that. Is how i do it when moving plugins and emulators and other stuff. :P
