Is there a way to add my own music by using a resources folder?
From the very first post -
I was porting wup installer y mod to RPX when someone gave me a link to @dj_skual 's work on WUP Installer GX2, so I switched to port that instead and here is the result. I left the data files in the content folder so it can be modded however you like, all you need to do is repack it with NUS Packer. I used a splash screen and background music that I liked and we made an icon for it.

uhm, i dont think you know what i was talking about? they begun working on the wii u in 2010, so system config tool has probably been around since then.
I have no idea what you are talking about. I'm not talking about system config tool whatsoever. I'm talking about homebrew.

Oh no I meant for the .elf version, not the channel version. Kinda like how Loadiine GX2 allowed you to simply make a resources folder and you can drop a music file in there to replace the music. Another app offers the same possibility.

When I install to USB, WUP Install y mod gives an "Incomplete WUP files in folder, try a reboot". If I install to NAND, it installs fine, but I get the 199-9999 error when i try to launch it. If I use Data Management to move it from NAND to USB, I STILL get the 199-9999 error on launch?

I didn't make the .elf version, but looking at the source code, you can see that the resource files are loaded from "sd:/wiiu/apps/wup_installer_gx2/resources".
