No sir. From what I understand each step may or may not have different methods and or prerequisites, for that step I choose method 1.

yes normaly cbhc should just work fine it could be that theres a cfw implemented in haxchi now and that caauses you wiiu to freeze once you load haxchi + mocha

Ive checked the thread haxchi indeed comes with its own CFW
So just boot youre wiiu run haxchi while holding b to get syspatches
and then just boot haxchi again to go to homebrew (without holding b)
and never touch mocha again i didnt know that while writing the guide ill gonna fix that later

so booting haxchi while pressing b after booting youre console will just do the same as mocha does

yes but you installed haxchi at 4.1 my guide was faulty it wasent youre fault
Power down youre WIIU
Power it on Boot haxchi and hold b on the gamepad wich brings you back to sysmenu. (like mocha)
and then just do whatever you want never touch mocha again

i missed that fix94 added a cfw into haxchi wich means using haxchi + mocha will crash youre wii u

Hi there. I was using browser exploit for a while and today wanted to make it easier to enter homebrew browser. I installed Haxchi.

Now, since I installed Haxchi, what advantage installing Mocha or CBHC over this I would have ?

Can't I keep using it this way ?

mocha has no advantage anymore it will just crash together with haxchi
you can press and hold b while loading haxchi to get all the patches mocha has.
or get cbhc and have it permanent on youre wiiu cbhc loads a cfw or whatever you want while booting the wiiu.
so you could just update haxchi to latest rev and youre ready to go i updated the guide today to use Haxchis built in cfw

The cfw is like this
If CBHC installed use CBHC for cfw
If Haxchi use Haxchi for cfw
If youre loading homebrew via brwoser exploit and not haxchi use mocha

When opening Haxchi I keep pressing B it goes straight to homebrew browser. Is it supposed to do that ? I thought it would go to wiiu main menu that way.

here is the updated starter pack replace the files on youre sd with the updated one and reinstall haxchi just install it over youre old haxchi installation should work then

you can copy all the files on a android device but you wont have the write permissions for a sd card on a unrooted device gl

My archive is ready to use and homebrew app store does an amaizing job for updating stuff

im probably out of the wiiu scene because someone made me an insane offer to buy my wiiu just the console itself and the sd card for more than 400€
i dont plan to get a new wiiu since the switch is released pretty soon

a softmod to a wii u can be done on a android tablet if rooted.would usb helper work on android to get the games.what can be used to for dumping your own games on a android tablet.

you probably can manage to do this depending on youre smartphone android is able to run linux as a virtual machine also way back in 2011 vmware showed off running a vm on android there may could be a version for android thats able to run windows xp

also i dont know about any android nus but you could maybe modify and use a terminal based nus for linux on android

ive also found this 3 years old but a nice entry point for windows xp on android so you may could be able to find something faster using qemu on a actual phone

No you leave the sd card as it is on my package and change this on the loadiine site

so keep the 1.4 loader on sd and just change loadiine.ovh to loader version 1.3

ok now i get sd mount failed.. i wonder if it is because i m using mac's disk utility to format the card? maybe i need to do what tommasi did..

Morning everyone, I have just got my wii u out and decided to set it up again, the scene has changed an awful lot since I last used it, I currently use the browser to load loadiine and then play my games of SD Card, is this the guide I need to put CFW on??

I'm looking at booting straight into CFW and been able to play online?? Is this all possible by following this guide??
