What games do you like/love that (almost) everyone tends to dislike/hate? What games do you hate/dislike that (almost) everyone tends to like/love? And (of course) why?
Also remember to respect the other's opinions, and please don't be too salty about that.
I will begin myself (I will put them in a Spoiler because I might write too much...)

Games that I like that others tend to dislike:-Cubic Ninja (3DS)
I won't say too much about his game, everyone hates this game and only want it for the hax, but I have it and I really enjoy this game. I think it's a decent puzzle game.
-Super Mario Sunshine (Gamecube)
Almost everyone I know hates this game. "Oh, what a nice horrible janitor simulator Nin10doh!!!". Well, I absolutely love this game, the music and the atmosphere are incredible (maybe is because I live on an island and I love "Summer-ish" weather), but some secret levels are very hard/unfair. Also: I don't have any nostalgia about this game (I started playing it 2 years ago, already 100%'ed it)
-Final Fantasy VIII (PSOne)
I don't know why so many people hate this game (I can understand the hate to XIII, but to this one?), I 100%'ed this game and FFVII, and I think they are both awesome (and FFIX too)
-Sonic Heroes (Multiplatform)
Maybe it's the nostalgia, but I really like this sonic game. Sure, It's not like Sonic Adventure 2 and it doesn't feel like a Sonic title at all, but it holds a special place on my dark and broken heart.
And now, the games that I don't like a bit, but others tend to like:
-Monster Hunter Generations (3DS)
(Someone will kill me for this...) Well, I really know why everyone loves this game: "New and returning maps? New and returning monsters? Special abilities? Count me in!" I said to myself when I saw the trailer of Monster Hunter X, but when I played Generations (the western release of MHX) I felt really dissapointed, clunky menus, slow-paced action, very easy difficulty and not-so-great ability navigation (at least for me, remember: this is MY opinion).
I played every single Monster Hunter game to date (including th Felyne Village ones and Monster Hunter Stories). And this game marks the fall of one great franchise to me (my favourite MH game will always be MHFU, but with how different MH4U felt and the dissapointment this game gave me, I won't ever play any MH again, sadly... but I discovered Shin Megami Tensei, which it's now holding MH's place).
-Splatoon (2.0 update and up) (Wii U)I played every single Monster Hunter game to date (including th Felyne Village ones and Monster Hunter Stories). And this game marks the fall of one great franchise to me (my favourite MH game will always be MHFU, but with how different MH4U felt and the dissapointment this game gave me, I won't ever play any MH again, sadly... but I discovered Shin Megami Tensei, which it's now holding MH's place).
(I admit that this is due to some special problem) I used to like this game, it's a very original 3rd person shooter with unique gameplay mechanics, but everything went down the road since August of 2015, the month that the 2.0 update came out.
That update added a lot of new things, and even augmented the maximum level that users could get to. But not everithing was great, that update led to some users (myself included) to disconnect to every single one of the battles, leading the game 99% unplayable (I even tried to use the LAN adapter with no luck, please Splatoon 2/Splatoon Switch, don't have this problem...)
