I have tried to install the coldboot method and when I tried to make a secondary haxchi, it loaded as the homebrew launcher as the first "brain age" I tried to restart my system and now I have a black error screen on the boot up saying "There is a problem with system memory" Error code 160-0103.
Anyway to bypass this?

I will never understand the interrest about this coldboothax...

Without coldboothax, you have only to press once on haxchi to launch a CFW. And keep an access to sysmenu is ALWAYS a good thing (for recover rednand or whatever).

Coldboothax need to be more securised for common use, or we need a boot0/boot1 exploit to be sure to have a way to launch a recover image or something similar

Well I contacted the person who made the guide, apparently he forgot to take out the section that bricked my wii u! So hope this doesn't happen to anyone else... Wii u's are starting to be hard to find now.

CBHC is fine the only there only were a few ways to brick youre wiiu with CHBC
First installing CHBC in a Corrupted DS VC Game (Install Haxchi first and see if it runs befor installing CHBC)

Installing CHBC on a VC stored on USB (remove USB befor doing that)

Deleting or moveing the VC from sysnand (fixed in 1.4 as long as you are in cfw)

And last but not least overwriting it via wupinstaller or haxchi (i mean how retarted do you need to be to do that (also fixed in 1.5))

Can you access the quick start menu on your gamepad?

probably not its recommend to deactivate standby and quick start for CBHC

Well, people should have quick start enabled in case of something like this, as there may be a way to unbrick via quick start.

In his case he powered down the WIIU means quickstart will still go trough the normal cooldboot wich is fucked because his console tries to load a non working haxchi atm instead of the sysmenu atm

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

thats why you should create a nand backup before softmodding consoles

this is for anything consoles pcs handhelds whatever if you modify stuff backup it
