Oh look, a Moroccan fellow here. Thought I was the only one.We just got information from Eurogamer, as well as a few other sources, that the Switch will support Virtual Console, and GameCube will be featured alongside the platforms. Four games may make it to the Switch not only for the first time on the Switch VC, but as a welcome to the Virtual Console as a whole, as we haven't seen any GameCube games on Wii U. Those four games are Super Mario Sunshine, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Animal Crossing, and Luigi's Mansion.
We have also heard that NERD (Nintendo European Research and Development) is engineering the Switch VC. This is NERD we're talking about, the same studio behind the DS Virtual Console on Wii U, as well as the NES Classic Edition (or NES Mini). We may also get support for the Wii U's GameCube controller adapter, although we are not sure as of yet.
Conclusion is, if this GameCube VC rumor is true, then I'll be so hyped for it.
What do you think?

If the switch's joy cons can be used as individual GameCube controllers then that means easy multiplayer for everyone! And four-player with an extra par, or a seond Switch. If this is gonna be confirmed, I'd rebuy Melee, Mario Party 7 and Kirby Air Ride in a heartbeat.
I've always wondered how shoulder buttons would work in horizontal mode...If the switch's joy cons can be used as individual GameCube controllers then that means easy multiplayer for everyone! And four-player with an extra par, or a seond Switch.
It has extra shoulder buttons on the side.I've always wondered how shoulder buttons would work in horizontal mode...
I don't think so, judging by the footage and patentsIt has extra shoulder buttons on the side.
Watch again. Specifically the sliding onto the switch scene, and the Mario kart scene where the extra shoulder button is used to drift. I'll link a YouTube video within an hour.I don't think so, judging by the footage and patents
I'd appreciate that, actually.Watch again. Specifically the sliding onto the switch scene, and the Mario kart scene where the extra shoulder button is used to drift. I'll link a YouTube video within an hour.
I was referring to the trailer, but there's also a video that zooms in on it, but I have to rewatch all the switch-related videos in my history to find it.I'd appreciate that, actually.
Edit: if you're referring to the trailer I can just watch it myself
