Would either want to know what the possible problem is, or how to start over from the very beginning.
You mentioned wiimote disconnecting, it's usually a cIOS incorrectly installed. But you said you tried reinstalling cIOS few times so it's less chance to be the issue.
it's really strange that wiimote unsync.

Black screen could be a lot of different cause, but the wiimote I don't know.
For example, you may have accidentally enabled "debug start" option, and it's waiting on a black screen for a debugger tool command to start the game.

You want to start over, so :
go into USBLoaderGX settings > reset settings.
or delete the entire "usbloader_gx" folder and reinstall it again.
Be sure to launch it from HBC, or be sure you are using the forwarder and not the full channel (or you'll actually be launching an old version of the loader)

if you are on Wii, I'd recommend d2x v8 base57.

Hey guys,

it would be nice if you could help me too. Please don't be mad with me if this is the wrong place.

I have exactly the same problem with my emunand/wiiware games (I didn't tested my wbfs files, 'cause I'm using cfg for them, works).

Now, I tried everything I read in this thread, but they won't run.
I tried with d2x-v10beta52 --> Black Screen
I tried with d2x-v10beta53-alt --> goes back to Homebrew

My Syscheck:

it's not easy to help you, knowing you tried all our ideas and possibilities and it still doesn't work :/
did you try another loader? you will know if the issue is USBLoaderGX or not. If it's doing the same in another USB Loader, then you'll know it's not a setting, but probably your hardware or your softmod which is the cause.
did you try another device? you will know if the issue is your hard drive or flash drive, etc.
did you try another SD card? you ... yeah, same as above
Did you try switching the emuNAND path on SD <-> USB ?
Did you try using Sneek? neek2o? Nswitch? maybe your emuNAND is at fault, not your settings.
did you try another console with your same SD and HDD and homebrew settings? you will know if the issue is the console or your hardware.

Try as much different thing as you can to narrow the possibilities.
If switching something is doing the same, you can think "it's not that, let's try something else until I find what is the cause of this issue"

Without more information, it's not easy to tell you what to do. you only told us that "you have the same problem" (I guess, black screen).
You tried d2x r52 instead of r53, which is already a good thing :)
As you are on Wii, you could even try v8 instead of v10

Hi, thanks so far.

- I think my emunand is okay. Created it with Simple FS Dumper and edited with ShowMiiWads.
- emuNAND path is okay, I keep it on SD (btw: the Games are shown, it opens the channel look, but when I start it goes to blackscreen)
- I tried uLoader but it works only with usb and its stuttering the whole time without starting a game (tried different versions),
- I tried Mighty Channels, it ends in a strange error code.
- Triiforce MRC v10 works well with the games, but the GUI is awful when you have a lot of games, but games are working!

I'm very sure my hardware and softmod are okay, but I don't know which cIOS will work with emuNand + USBLoaderGX. As you can see in my syscheck I installed different d2x. I changed the ios-setting in USBLoader to test the cios.

I also thought about a sdcard problem, so I made an emunand on USB but still get blackscreen.

Question: Is it right that triiforce is using the hermes-cios I installed? Wanted to try those with my usbloader but it tells me to switch to a d2x cios. I'm also unsure about the revision-numbers, i.e.
IOS249[56] (rev 21010,Info: d2x-v10beta52). Shall I try it with rev 21?

If you need more information just ask. Thank you in advance!

Edit:
found this one: https://www.reddit.com/r/WiiHacks/comments/411g8y/cant_get_virtual_console_wiiware_titles_to_work
Maybe the mistake is that my SD-card fat32 system isn't 32k clustered. Will try this tomorrow.

Or maybe you have another idea, I don't want to reformat, there are toooo much big WADs on my sd :D

I think triiforce and mighty channel are using the cIOS in slot t249, without any way to choose the slot. it just use what's located there.

you said you tried emuNAND on USB, did you make it with simple FS dumper too?
there is a small chance that the issue is FS dumper, which is using IOS58 and doesn't act like cIOS.

some files on NAND can have filename with characters incompatible with FAT32 naming convention. both IOS58 and the cIOS may (not sure, I never checked simple FS dumper sources) not be converting these incompatible characters to the same compatible code on FAT32 drives. The issue is that the wii is expecting a non FAT32 character, but the cIOS is not re-encoding it back for the wii because it doesn't understand the code used by FSdumper.
(that was the long explanation).
some games, like harry potter, have savegame filename incompatible with FAT32. I don't know other games, I just remember that one.

Did you try making a new dump using cIOS on your slot 249, using USBLoaderGX's internal NAND dumper? that way, you'll use the same cIOS for both creating the NAND dump and reading it from emuNAND.
be sure settings>loader's settings>Loader's IOS is set to 249 (or you see 249 in the credit page)
settings>user path>emuNAND channel : create a new empty folder for a new dump (sd or usb)
settings>features>Dump NAND>Full
don't add new channels to it yet, just try to run an already installed channel in emuNAND mode full, and see if it's still not working.
this way we will do two tests at the same time : testing if FSdumper is the issue, and testing if one of the game you added is corrupting the emuNAND file system.

Hey Cyan,

you are awesome. I created my nand dump with usbloadergx on USB. Installed some wads and it seems to work. Now I'm installing 400 wad's using usbloadergx. Hopefully there is no corrupted game :D

I will tell you if everythings cool when its ready in an hour :/

Thank you so far.

Edit: Whoop whoop, it is working! Cyan, you are my god!

flash drives are not the best for the Wii and WiiU, even nintendo officially tell users to not use them. (maybe for another reason, but they are not officially supporting them)

Maybe you have to try another version of this game to see if it will work. Because now you have IOS249[56] d2x-v10beta53-alt and IOS250[57] d2x-v10beta53-alt and if you don't have a good reason to use these cIOS, it's done nothing to use them, they have a less compatibility games.

If somebody can confirm this game work with a certain setting, it will help you.

Did you check the game partition on the disc and make sure it's valid? You can use Dolphin to do it: Right-click on game>Properties>Filesystem>right-click on game partition.

Man, I had the same situation. I believe it to be a mix of things: wbfs format with wbfs files, trying to install updates and then ending up updating the wii to 4.3U by using modmii's tailored instructions. Finally it all worked, got rid of wbfs manager and starting using wii backup manager(way better), I was able to download covers without it crashing for some reason and usb loader was able to see all my backups. Before it only recognized 2 of them.

i am using a 32 gig Sandisk thumb drive(cruzer glide) formatted to fat32, and an 8 gig sandisk sdhc.
and my system version is 4.3U
be aware I am fairly new to softmodding and stuff so some things may have to be explained to me :(
thanks if anyone can be of help!

I have fixed it!! i needed to format my flash drive to wbfs format.

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.

Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.
