Thing is, this has an engine and level editor he can use, while there's no good base for Zelda 1/2.
Actually, there is.
However, it seems to contain the actual ROM so I don't think I can link to the website.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Plus the level editor is moderately easy to use.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Meanwhile, CHMM2 is scanning my SD card for about 5 minutes now... lol

Zelda Classic.
And yes, I remember it may actually be a little limited and as far as I know it hasn't been worked on since 2015 or 2014.
Issue is, that isn't something already working on the DS or 3DS like New Super Mario Bros. is.

I liked your video of the demo rooms. it actually will make a person think "how the hell...." :) keep up the good work looking forward to the final release :D
It actually takes a bit time to create such bonusrooms since I'm very limited with the editor (the NSMB is pretty limited)... Creating a bonusrrom for every STAR COIN, SECRET EXIT and each CAMEO GUEST can be a pain in the...
Especially when you have used the most tricky things already :) However, I don't think that I will be able to release it this year... I haven't even started to edit/change the worldmaps, backgrounds and 3D sprites!

But once this game is finished - I promise that it will be the best NSMB (3DS/DS) game ever! I repeat: the best ever!! I have so nice ideas which need to be added :)

Please make a version for nsmb2 on 3ds...
Can you give me a second life please :P

With all the custom work he's done to NSMB, along with features only in NSMB (blue shells, for example) it'd be horribly inefficient to. That's like asking for a Brutal Mario port to New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

Sorry for the question.
At the time of this post, the version "3.0a" is the stable version recommended for download on your website.

Based on current progress, is there some schedule of when the version 4.0 of this project may be released for download?

I wish you success.

Well - I took the game from the website, because I don't want that people play the "outdated" Version...
The V3.0a is compared to V4.0 a joke... Version 4.0 will have complete changed graphics and backgrounds! Also new 3D models...
On top of that - every level (all 80) will have a HIDDEN CEMAO inside (Cameo means: guest-charcater appearence from another vieogame)

BTW. I just updated my Youtube channel with a video called: Super Mario Bros. 3 VS "New" Super Mario Bros. 3
(some people told me that they can't see the SMB3 levels inside my 4.0 anymore... - because I have added tons of new secrets, the whole level is probably 60% new, 40% remaked original)

However here a video:

Dude, I still remember the first few beta's of this hack.
You only had about 3 levels done when I was one of your beta testers.
I still remember helping you find bugs and testing if the secret areas worked while trying to collect all 3 "coins" (this was one of your requirements for the beta testers haha).

I'm really happy you've gotten this far with this Rom Hack, what you've been able to do to this game and it's engine, remarkable.

I wish you all the best with 4.0 and the future of this hack, looking forward to playing it!
