The client is xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx so im confused on what to do.I tried putting a 0 instead of a number since i only have 2 xx at the end on my pc.

It should be something like 111.111.1.1 on the pc,
translate that to 111.111.001.001 on the 3ds

I'm tryign that but no response.My pc has it as 111.111.111.11,it weird.Is the client wrong?

Oh and Start to try to exit it crashes the app and i have to hard reset.

The port should be the same in the config on the PC and the 3DS, you can use L and R to change the port on the 3ds but it's slow

If your IP address 0 is xxx.xxx.xxx.xx, use xxx.xxx.xxx.0xx

The 3DS return me this error: "[ERR -1] 0_NONBLOCK is set for the file descriptor for the socket and the connection cannot be inmediately established; the connection shall be established unchronosly"
Can anyone help me?

However, I am a tad confused on how to make the connection between the PC and the 3DS console. The directions go straight from how to adjust the settings the config file to starting the connection. Do I need to move one of the extracted files into a specific folder in my console's SD card?

You need to install a NTR version that can run in your firmware version. Also, you need the ntr.bin in order to start it up in the root of your SD. I recomend you to use NTR selector, btw.

I have been working on a project on and off for about 2 weeks now. I decided to work on something else so I am releasing what I have. a 3DS Remote Desktop app that allows you to remote control your PC for games, movies, porn, etc.

It is still fairly rudimentary, but it works.

To use, set the server config file to set button input mappings, the port to use, and the destination screen size(mostly used for other platforms so just leave it at 400x240 because thats the 3DS' screen size). The input mappings require win32 virtual key code int values(ascii decimal value). A list of these can be found here. NOTE: The values here are HEX, so just convert them to decimal with windows calculator or online tools like this.

The client is still a bit ugly, but once you set the server and port to connect to(D pad for server, and L and R keys to set port), press A to connect. Once connected, press SELECT to start video link. At any point, press start to exit the client. You can press ESC to stop the server. Connects/disconnects still arent exactly clean, but oh well [emoji14]

A build can be found here, but I also have a build attached. The source can be found here. Please note, i have not included the source to LZ4, but i have included prebuilt library's. if you use these librarys, dont forget to forward lz4's licenced

whenever I press Select on my 3DS to link the video, it says "CONNECTED!", but the video never actually shows up on my 3DS. Could it be because it just spams "Error on GetBackBuffer()" on the server program, or is it something else? Any help is appreciated!

I get an error code...

[ERR -1] A receive is attempted on a connection-mode socket that is not connected."
What did I do wrong? I set the proper mappings for the 3ds imputs (or so I believe).
I put in my ip address (PC ip) by doing the 192.168.00X..0XX:8888 in the .cia version of the application.
I don't know what went wrong.
Help?
