Thank you so much this is an awesome port! New release fixes issue I had with running The Dig and Sam n Max, both crashed with error before this version.

The 7th guest works great as well, this worked on last release as well.

Thanks again for all the hard work!

Dude - great update!!

Curse of the Monkey Island works great now!!
I've also tested:
Sam & Max - the audio stutters a bit, but otherwise, highly playable.
Gobliiins 1 - Works fine, but the cursor is a bit slow and stutters. Playable.
Let me know if there's any specific games you'll want us to help testing.

Out of curiosity: at what resolution does this run? Native vita resolution? The theme just look very pixelated.

I'm gonna test a few games and then I'll edit this.

It runs at 320x200 scaled, i think we can change the gui resolution easily ?

Focus on other stuff first. As I said, I was curious :P

Did you notice you can now run the GPU at 222Mhz in the latest henkaku beta? Would that help with anything?

Yes, i guess this would make GPU scaling faster as scaling is currently done on the gpu (texture) unlike default filters which are disable for now. Not sure if it's really needed tough ? There is some input lag but i don't think it's related to speed but more on the input part, which i will take a look soon.

Good to know. The filters would be welcome I think.

I have tested 5 games all to great success:

Discworld: CD/DOS version
Discworld 2: CD/DOS version
I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream: DOS version
2 Indiana Jones games: One is CD/DOS the other is a FM-Towns version

They all worked great and I know at least one or two of them uses .fla files.

I've also written an article about this update @ wololo.net and asked readers to test and report here if they can. Article should be up later today

Playable :

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis (FM-TONWS) => Erreur lors de l'execution du jeu : Unsupported color mode ( 16bit color support is required for this game)
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (VGA/DOS) => application crash (my version has OGG files for musics)

Seems all Sierra games are not full speed because of chopped sound. I don't know if there is an option to choose in the settings (seems to don't change anything)

He can't sign up with ScummVM. Read the rules...

"First of all, your homebrew must be published on the website GekiHEN (more informations below). You must wait until a moderator valid your entry before publishing it on other websites/forum, else it will be refused (for information, an e-mail is automatically send when a moderator has validated or not your project)."

Also he would have to add this advertising/"sponsorship"-screen

And it's not a "update", but a port, see the rule "The homebrew must be entirely new, or a significant update (or mod) of your existing homebrew. We might refuse “updates” or “mods” if we think they do not bring much new features to your homebrew."

And last, but not least it's a interpreter and no emulator which means the only category which might fit would be utility/hack and this dosn't really fits (I assume they would accept it as emulator anyway).

But I agree he would earn to win the prize :)

Thank you for the update. I can confirm that Spy Fox 1 & 2 both work now. They are a tiny bit slow (not very noticeable), but they nevertheless run quite well. Spy Fox 3 still cannot be detected however. I will play more the two games that I reported that work and report back any issues if I run into them.

The rules says it can be a port : "Ports of open source software are considered ok, as long as you follow the license rules." Also i'm sure it would fit in emulator/or game section. The only problem i guess is i did release it a few days early :'(

I can save in Discworld 2 with the new release thank you :D:D:D

Bien joué :yay:

This game leads to the error dialogue here very soon.

DW1 not even starts. (DOS/German)

MI1 + 2 / IJ 4 FM-Towns all lead to:
Unsupported color mode ( 16bit color support is required for this game)

Zak McKracken FM-Towns seems to work well but the aspect ratio is wrong. (stretched, should be 4:3, aspect ratio correction not selectable in options)

any news about this project ?

cpasjuste, I don't know if you need help. Is your port open source ?
I started play a Sierra Games, but I quickly stopped seeing that it's a bit tiresome because of sound.

So, if you could help us to enhanced this port, ask us :)

Hi yes it is opensource of course : https://github.com/Cpasjuste/scummvm

I have a big (I mean good) update to push : at least 50% faster speeds, integer scaling, HQ scalers, corrected aspect ratio on some games and right stick enabled. Next work is sound and smoother mouse movements. Ill try to push that tomorrow.

Else the port should/could be submitted to GekiHEN contest, I hope it'll be fine if you ever contribute.
