Did my first batch of cheapo amiibo cards
Laserjet compatible business cards and google image search of black and white images.
Just slap the tag on the back and write the amiibo. Nice and cheap. Also not the nicest looking, but do the job well enough.
most are just Smash Bros. but the Kirby Robobot card is the actual kirby amiibo and not the smash one. Both unlock different copy abilities in Kirby Robobot.

DIY amiibo cards... created using blank NTAG215 tags and a little bit of dark magic :)

You need:
- a blank NTAG215 tag sticker (Shop NFC, AliExpress, ...)
- an amiibo dump (dump your own amiibo, download it, ...)
- a way to decrypt/encrypt amiibo dumps (amiibo decryption service, amiitool, ...)
- NFC reader/writer hardware (USB NFC reader/writer, Android smartphone with NFC, ...)
- compatible software to write an amiibo dump to a blank NTAG215 tag (I could not find any so wrote my own)
- a hex editor (HxD, UltraEdit, ...)
- a picture of the amiibo (download it)
- a printer (printer at home, printer at work, photo kiosk, ...)
- a ruler and a cutter knife

Steps:
- decrypt amiibo dump
- use hex editor to change UID in amiibo dump to UID of blank NTAG215 tag
- encrypt amiibo dump
- write amiibo dump to blank NTAG215 tag
- print amiibo picture and cut it out
- put NTAG215 tag sticker on the back of amiibo picture

Seems like the uploaded file is damaged.

Till they fix the download you can use v1.06 instead

check http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/Amiibo for te memory layout. pay special attention to the encryption status of the pages, while keeping in mind that amiitool will en-/decrypt even the unencrypted parts

I had a girlfriend who had a twin sister and they would mess with me constantly.... Until one chipped a tooth then finally I could tell them apart.... Lol

They would have the same hair style the same clothes everything... Really messed with my head lol

@The Real Jdbye, I could see AMD trying to pull off the CPU GPU tandem thing, would be a way to maybe close the gap a bit with Nvidia. Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
i don't think nvidia wants to get in the x64 cpu market anyways
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
you've seen how much intel is struggling getting into the gpu market
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
and nvidia is already doing ARM
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
i don't think they want to take more focus away from their gpus

Yeah I think Nvidia s future lays in AI GPU acceleration stuff if they can get that going it's going to be super interesting in the long term

AI assisted game creation might become a thing

At least that's something I think would be pretty cool.

  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@Psionic Roshambo AI assisted game creation is kinda already here, there was recently that AI that can turn any 2D image into a fully modeled 3D object, it's not perfect, but it's a starting point, beats starting from zero

  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
before that there was one to generate a fully modeled scene from a 2D image

  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but most recently, there was one that actually generates a working unity scene with terrain and textures already set up that you can import right into unity, that's a huge time saver right there
