WARNING: It has come to my attention that the Ninty server CAN DETECT and BAN YOU FOR THIS
You have been warned!

Splatoon Colorizer

Current supported Splatoon version: 2.7.0
What it is:
A simple GUI that enables anyone with the ability to install the tcpGecko code handler on there Wii U to easily change the colors on Splatoon.
Please note, the color can NOT change mid match!

Requirements:
  • A PC with at least Java 1.8
  • A Wii U that you can install the tcpGecko code handler
  • Splatoon

Installation:

This program requires two things, a recent version of Java and my launcher; the launcher is required because of some libraries that I use. Download my launcher here(adfree) and extract it to the same location that you put the colorizer in. Then drag the colorizer ".gud" file onto the batch file if you are on Winderps, otherwise open a shell in the current directory and execute "java -jar gudWrapper.jar SplatoonColorizer.gud" to run it.

Usage:
Enter the IP address of the Wii U with the code handler installed in the text field at the top and click connect. Then choose the colors you want by picking them in the interface; you can use some predefined colors, or set your own with HSV, HSL, RGB or CMYK. If you want to could also check the "Randomize" box to enable the app to choose a color triad when sending the info to the Wii U. Then when you want to set the colors click the "Colorize" button, or check "Constant" which simulates pressing the button once a second. If you would like to get the colors from the Wii U you can click "Get Colors". Please note, the color only changes during level loading. If you want you can experiment with the random ranges using the sliders on the bottom.

Download is here(adfree).

Updates:
When an update is available the colorizer will open a dialog asking if you want to download an update. Clicking yes will ask your default web browser to download the new version.

Thanks:
  • Thanks to all the people who helped make tcpGecko a thing
  • Thanks to @NWPlayer123 for a couple ideas, offsets and testing 18 versions of this
  • Nintendo for the amazing game

https://www.dropbox.com/s/zpqjmmrpsl8aoi2/colors.py?dl=0 Here you go, a modified version of NWPlayers Colorizer that works with 2.11.

Instructions:
1. Download pygecko and everything you need for it.
2. Change the IP
3. Open a CMD and execute the script. Example:
Code:
python colors.py FF0000 00FF00 0000FF
Color 1 will be red, color 2 green and color 3 blue.

Thats it.

Maybe I should also say that I used the HBL TCPGecko with Courtneys Codehandler, so the offset might be off by 0x9000 if you use the loadine.ovh TCPgecko (which is what Mario posted.) If you do use something different, than the offset might also be wrong for you.

which just sucks
because i've tried other tcpgeckos in the past and the only one that works consistently is the loadiine.ovh one

I hate to sound like a noob but how the hell do you do that?
and really all gud needed was an address, nw in the script says you might as well be using the gui anyway, if it works

Exactly. There was this very old version that is still used by loadiie.ovh and most people are working with it. But due to its limitation more and more people are moving to other versions, e.g. the geckiine one or the HBL one with additional Code Handlers. You cannot make everyone happy rn which is some kind of a problem.

The one Mario posted DOES work if you poke the correct values into it. You can the address in my script with the one from Mario and it should work.

I executed the script on the weapon selection screen and then went into the test range area. I got a new color there. If you want to do it in an actual match or recon, you would need to modify the script a bit, so it pokes at a certain time.

Find gravity and reduce it. Find your jump and increase it. Other than that no idea and off topic.
My bad sorry about that. I'm also trying to get the colorizer to work I can change colors and test it in Weapon Test but can't go into private Battle with it. My colors change back to wii u colors? Any ideas why
