Great work!
Are you planning on releasing updates in the future?

Not really, apart from making optimizations and updating the source so that it stays up to date with ctrulib, I won't be doing much. Have you tested it? I just wanna know if there's been any improvements.

I managed to clean this up with an updated fork. I fixed all warnings and also added N3DS speedup.
Please test and let me know how it goes.

Still not tried this tool with a new release taking advantage of N3DS thought I'd give it a show but I get DLL errors when trying to run the server, libgcc_s_dw2-1 and libstdc++-6 missing.

Earlier post mentions building with compiler set to use static libraries.

It is using static libraries according to the makefile (at least for the lz4 compression - even though they're unused atm). So I don't see what's the problem. It seems like the software was too glitchy to begin with, I don't plan on continuing this if that's the case. I'm not too experienced with net and socket functions anyway. Besides, you can clear out those errors by simply installing MiniGW.

Edit: here's another build that hopefully improves the socket blocking issue.

SourceForge was having issues at the time, got the dlls from MinGW and Server is booting up, 3DS says opening socket and server is saying compressed packet but hitting select on the 3DS isn't giving me anything :( I tried the the OP build the other night and connected fine.

Sorry for getting back to you so late. I'm having a guy run a few tests for me, I'll report back later.

Sorry but I'm not too sure about issues regarding windows, but from what I've gathered it's an issue that has to do with Microsoft visual. Try installing (or reinstalling if you already have it) Microsoft visual C++.

Are you using the original one, or my mod?
Please quote me next time. By the way it's better to use the original once since mine apparently doesn't work.

I used both , and they don't work
Also , only the static fix of retrozelda worked ( this one : https://gbatemp.net/attachments/3dsremotedesktopserver_staticfix-zip.15772/ ) but , even if i can connect my 3ds to my pc , when i press select , it doesnt show the screen on my 3ds... but i think the button are working.

I'm using an old 3ds

Thanks for helping

I think the original should work with the static fix. Not sure about mine, but I'm not sure if I can help you any further, sorry. I can't figure out what's preventing my mod from working, so I'm just going to have to abandon this for now.

Anyway to improve the screen quality ?

Sorry but I'm not too sure about that. Maybe the LZ4 decompression ruined the quality, but I can't say for sure.

Hi! I have a problem :(. I use the static fix of Retrozelda and the cia version (I have already test with the version 2.01 but it says I don't have the libstdc++-6.dll) . When I tap my IP on my 3ds I get this error message: "[ERR -1] The specified address is not a valid address for the address family of the specified socket"
