So this happens occasionally but sometimes I'll fight someone online with a power rating of 987 for example but when the match starts their units have a 500+ rating and some of their stats are capped at 99, anyone know why that happens?

Since Einherjar units can be copies of actual units used by someone else and the original copies of these units may have their stat caps modified by statues, the devs decided to record the amount of modified stat caps in the character blocks of individual characters. What these people you face online have done is the modification of those values so as to allow for insanely high stat caps. If you look hard enough, you'll find posts in this thread detailing how to do it.

wait, is there a way to actually edit the amount of battles/visits your castle has accumulated? I see someone got to do that but I thought that wasn't possible?

There is, but that's stored on the online servers so if you updated your castle, you'll just get your original battles/visits. It was in the first build.

Thanks dude, but FEFTwiddler won't load the file after I unzipped it. It doesn't seem like a character file now that I look at it, any advice?

I see guys with characters stats up to 50, how can i do it with my own characters?
gotta hex edit their stat caps. though they arent permanent, mind you. they vanish if you let the character have a support convo. So, apply the hex edit once you're sure you won't support up with them

I know this thread is for FEFTwiddler, but there's no Fates hacking topic on GBAtemp, so here it is: the locations in Gamedata.bin.lz for every character, including Amiibo's, support blocks.
