Hi, i'm new here, I would like to be adressed by Ken if possible. (unless my screen name is already enough) I'm from New York, and looking for friends. I also have Wii U, 3DS, Playstation 3, Playstation vita/psp, and Nvidia shield consoles. I also have a pc, really a laptop but can't use it very much due to overheat issues i have to get fixed (if i can afford it.) Fan works when it wants to bud doesn't help much since is too hot to even touch bare handed. I hope I'm not going on too much, or wasting my time writing this.
What I should say first is I'm nervous as I write this very second. I don't have many friends, realistic ones to interact with that isn't online I mean in other words, in real life or "IRL" I am lonely most of the time and do get bored a lot, it puts me to sleep. So I came here hoping for a change for the better. I'm not super tech savy smart like most other people are who can code homebrew programs or create mod hacks for consoles or games but I do know how to use a Game genie, action replay and gameshark, oops those were in the past... Those were the fun days of hacking. I guess i like finding stuff i want. Guess i could talk about this at another time. I'm making this too long.
Anyway, some notes about me, i hope are reading. I have been diagnose with aspergers syndrome disorder, since 11 if i can remember. Probably at a earlier age by the way my mom speaks about it. So if anyone would be kind enough to help me if i made mistakes, messed something up, disrupt, disregard, disrespect or offended something or someone, I would appreciate it. I will try my best to get along, even with my easy frustration, depression, or other mentality unstable problems, I will try to understand and be responsible. Sorry if this is long. I wanted to make a proper introduction.
I been close observer for this site gbatemp for various reasons. One main one was The homebrew and hacks, the wide variety of other creative, useful and satisfying things (just what i was looking for) such as emulators on my wii and psp back in 2009. The usefulnes and satisfaction of using the console beyond is intentioned limits puts smiles on my face, to see things like playing a nintendo game with a playstation controller entertains me in hopes of seeing more wacky possible combos.
Second reason was just looking forward to new things whe I least expect it, just to say stuff like "Oh snap, I like this, Oh gosh, That's amazing. I want to try that out is so good." I remember when back in 2009 when my wii eject button broke and i couldn't get the disc out. I thought i was stuck playing the same game until i got it fixed. Then I found a homebrew that can eject the disc without the button, it saved me so much trouble. (though it would be easier and less time consuming to just use the button) but i didn'thave to pay for repairs or replacement which could been expensiveby the way. (I'm not financialy well) That what I mean by useful.
The reason I decided to join was watching the communication between everyone. Is very supportive. I hope I would be supported if someone sees I need some of it. I don't really feel useful as of now being I'm no super hard code programmer like most here are but hope I can be acknowledge or just noticed by someone, maybe make some friends and chat, have fun... maybe get some answers for some of my console problems or homebrew, who knows. Just some ideas.
