Is it possible implement the use of a game boy cart in slot 2 with this emulator? That would be nice, I wouldn't need my gba anymore :)

ok I got a few questions

can this emulator work on r4isdhc gold pro?? (not the gold pro.cn or whatever it is)

and can I put all the roms in their own separate folder so they are separated from my nds roms?? (I like organization), can It play homebrew gbc games?

Evwrything you have stated should work. IIRC, GameYob has a homebrew compatibility list. I just don't remember where it is.

I'm trying this on my EZ Flash Vi, but it just kinda freezes and never starts when I select it in the main menu. Is this normal for this card? Any thoughts or tips? (Using firmware 108 and a good old DS Lite)

Try changing you microSD card, see if that helps

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

You can also redownload GameYob again, whether it be the stable or latest build. Try both and see what happens

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

If that doesn't help, redownload and flash your cart's firmware and kernel

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

If that still doesn't help, use SDFormatter v4 and format your microSD card with the following options:
Format type: Erase (Overwrite)
Format Size Adjustment: On

Yep, that worked just fine. Guess I have to reformat my other MicroSD, or see what's wrong with it. Thanks for the help!

Edit: trying a different MicroSD worked just fine, that is. Even the icon of the emulator changed, even though I copied the same exact file. Weird...

No, the GameBoy/GBC uses 5V power to the cart where as gba uses 3.3V I think?

Anyone know if this can be built as dsi-homebrew with dsi features? (the extra ram would be nice)

Great emulator. Used it for a year now. I did however come across across small graphic glitches in the Dragon Tales Dragon Wings game. BTW, how do you make the boarders work? I keep trying to make my own custom borders, but they appear on the emulator like fuzzy black/pink lines.

So I have a bit of a issue with Gameyob, for alot of games (Not All) they will just boot into a white screen and won't do anything. It doesn't crash the emulator, but they don't work. Does anybody know what is wrong? I have a supercard dstwo plus and I am using a sandisk 16GB class 4 micro sdhc card.

sounds like an SD card format issue, use the Panasonic SD formatter tool found here https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/ with the full overwrite option enabled this method usually fixes weird issues that happen like certain DS roms booting up properly.
Is way to make it run a game on boot? Like autorun?
If your using the Wood firmware yes there is.
Copy and paste this into notepad
[gb]
launcher=fat0:/gameyob.nds
show=1
[gbc]
launcher=fat0:/gameyob.nds
show=1
save the document with the file name associations.ini place the file in the "_rpg" folder so it should be here sdcard:/_rpg/associations.ini you can add any extension you want to the .ini file for example if you wanted moonshell to load .mp3 files from the woodR4 firmware you would add these lines to the .ini file.

launcher=fat0:/moonshl2.nds

That unfortunately did nothing. For some reason most of the bigger first party games work (ie Mario, Zelda, Kirby, Pokemon) but games like that Conker game (The one Lonely Goomba reviewed) for the Game Boy and even the Adventure Island Games don't work.

So, I'm kind of dumb. The SD card didn't need formatting, there was an error when moving the files so alot of games ended up with 0 bytes of data. Basically I just had to redownload the games and now they all work fine. (Except for Kirby Tilt and Tumble, nut none of us can play that anyway.)

To who ever it may concern, i tried injecting this into wii u loadiine (i was bored and curious) As a test... i figure it would work so i could use gameboy emulator on wii u, but it didn't load, i wonder if it's based on the game used to inject why it didnt work, or just something else.

This was also tried with NESDS with no work result as well.
