Sorry blast, i forgot to check here sooner,
Are you sure the L and R analog are working?

You might need to add digitalLR=1 if your shoulders buttons are not analog, it will enable the half pressed Button combo

And you have duplicate entries with dpad diagonals.

Phatmike:
It's USB only.
HID is a USB spécification

Wireless is only bluetooth for wiimote and classic controllers.

Guys I'm trying to use the latest build of Nintendont with my PS4 controller. Does it only work with a USB Cable? I'm unable to get it to work wirelessly. My Wii U Pro controller is also not working.. :( Not sure what is going on...
As far as I know, you can use a PS4, or PS3 Controller Wirelessly with the Wii.Wii U, It's simply not possible. You have to do it with a cord. If you need any help, Just reply, And I'll see what I can do

I actually switched it from Analog to Digital, And L and R stopped working COMPLETELY. So I'm just sticking with Analog, Even though I can't half press the L and R down like I should be able to, that becomes a problem when playing f-Zero GX..

I have a problem with my USB gamepad Controller. The brand is Game-Elements Recoil GGE909. When i tested it in HID-Test it responds properly. Every number/value changes for every button press correctly. So it is compatible controller and is recognized by Wii or the homebrew channel. My controller has an LED button that switches joystick to analog. When I plug this controller into my Wii this LED lights up. That's how I know it is on. So far so good.

But when I start the Nintendont the analog light turns off for some unknown reason and the controller stops functioning. It refuses to work when Gamecube games are running.

I tried to fix the problem with the controller.ini. I picked the one that matches best with my controller and placed it inside my USB root directory where the games are stored. It still didn't solve the problem. Controller turns off when Nintendont starts. Why is that happening? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Having a hell of a time right now; I want to change my PS3 controller's settings, but can't because I can't find hidtest.dol, and hidtest.exe (a seemingly different program) doesn't work via the same instructions as I found.

When using a Wii U Controller Pro with Nintendont, any way to switch only the X and Y button on the controller?

I haven't really found any documentation on how to configure this controller using a controller .ini file unless hooked up with USB.

find HIDtest, run it, check what offsets change when you press X and Y, and switch them around in the .ini using notepad.

well you would have to change the buttons inside the controller code and recompile nintendont.

My bad, must've been super tired.

I can probably go find exactly what you need to switch around to get it to switch X and Y, but I'm too tired for trial and error and digging through my old files rn since I did eventually cave in and buy GCCs, plus I'm busy compiling Sm4sh hacks, so..

Have you tried pressing "Minus" and then test out the buttons?
Perhaps the Wii U Pro has the same option as the CCP to change the button layout.

like i said it wouldnt just switch the x and y, all he wants is the x and y switch, not the entire rotation

Yeah! Leave A, B while switch X, Y only. Would make alot of GC games play better with the Pro Controller.
I also did mess around with HIDTest v4, 5 and 6 only to finally conclude that the Pro is indeed not a HID controller :P

Yeah you can't do that with HID.
It's a Bluetooth controller, which means you'll need to change the source code and compile Nintendont with the changed values.
You'll need to find the part in the Source code that is in charge of the X and Y button inputs and change them manually, then compile Nintendont again.

I did so back some months ago for switching the default input, but I can't remember which .c or .h file is the one at the moment, and I don't even know if the file I changed is in there or has been changed in anyway.

Hey guys! First of all, nice work!!!

I'm having problems with my 3rd party PS3 dual shock controller... When I press any button, it looks like they are on turbo mode, while there is not even this mode in the controller. Example: I can't hold the buttons, take B button for example in Zelda, I can't spin attack because it just looks like it keeps on pressing B instead of just holding them.

I've tested with my neighbor's "first party" PS3 controller and it works fine, I can hold buttons.

Is there something I can do to fix this? I've tried making a custom controller.ini, but there is no difference by doing that because both controllers give me the same values, it's the same configuration and mapping for both! Same VID PID, EndpointAddress, MaxPacketSize...

I've also "monitored" the buttons in HID Test. When I press and hold them, nothing changes, it's the same for both.
