Should ProjectM Full Set and Wifi-Safe versions share same GameID or have different GameIDs?

OK, I'll wait for that, then. I tried editing it myself, but it only got to the strap screen before crashing, so I clearly did something wrong.
Right now I'm building an ISO since I also attempted to update the bat if you give me an hour I'll tell you if I was able to get it work.

Edit:I tried it in dolphin and it only got to the the strap loader screen then the screen turned black. I'll post another update when I try it on my wii because my laptop is kinda crappy

the reason for it crashing is most likely due to pmdt splitting common5.pac into multiple files. the (current) iso builder bat doesn't handle this change properly and replaces the normal common5 with an empty one, causing the game to panic and crash. importing all the changes from the split up 3.6 common5 into the current 3.5 common5 should (hopefully) correct that issue. i'm working on that right now, we'll see what happens.

I'll have a peek too. The main loading screen is mostly common5.pac, so it's probably something to do with that--you mentioned the idea of replacing the relevant files that the PM team split up into the menu2 folder, so maybe that would work (or did you already try it and it didn't)?

Also, why did you go out of your way and make the sfx directory if you're already adding in a patched .brsar?

I really don't know what else to do. I made a new common5.pac with the files that the pm team split up but that didn't work. I did find an ISO builder that manages to get 3.6 to work but it's for a netplay build so i'll look through that builder to see if I can find anything to get this one working.

Really? Can you link me to that builder?
EDIT: Never mind, found it.

Yeah, I also tried the common5 workaround thing, but it didn't work for me either. It must be something to do with a new code that the PM team added--or we're overlooking something. In the case of a code, we'd have to ask someone from the PM team directly for info.

But now that I've found that builder, I can basically just replace the code and relevant files and it should theoretically work, so I guess we'll see.

So in that builder, their common5.pac is not an empty file. So it's looking more and more to me like the problem is in something to do with the new .gct. I think we'll have to ask someone on the PM forums--the only problem is that the forums are flooded because 3.6 was just released, so it may be a while before anyone replies.

Okay well if you start a thread on the forums give me the link to it and in the mean time I'm gonna take a look at the gct's and the .bat files to see if I can find anything.

The Wii is more hackable then any console ever! IMO
the first xbox is the console with the most mods IMO I don't see the Wii running 3 different flavors of linux or running Windows 98/ME. not to mention you can install a softmod, flash the TSOP or install a modchip. you can upgrade an xbox hard disk drive if you know what your doing. I have a softmodded xbox with 3 HDD's 1x80GB 2x40GB no modchip or TSOP flashing has been done. Also a softmodded xbox now a days if all the right updates are installed can do all the things a hardmodded one can do besides using an unlocked HDD you need a hardmod for that to work.

Yea we had everything right. Kurausukun found out on another forum that the problem was the alternate stage loader code won't work on the iso. So I guess the only way to play project M is to play 3.5.

Edit: http://smashboards.com/threads/help-with-3-6-iso-builder.407805/#post-19510641 Kurausukun's post is at the very bottom.
Okay because I know for 3.0 people were forgetting to calculate the hex value for the byte amount of the gct file. check if there is an option in the GCT file if you haven't already for the alternate stage loader code, most of their new features are turned on and off with the gct I usually customize the GCT options before I make my wbfs file never really had any luck with an iso file

Hey guys, I've been trying to make the Brawl mod ISO builder work with a codeset I have, but it seems to ignore it it when building the ISO. I figured it's probably because of its size because in order to use it with an SD card, I need a modified gameconfig.txt and even though a gameconfig file comes with the builder, it doesn't seem to use it either.
After more digging, I found out that the thing that does the trick is using 80568000 instead of 80570000 for "codeliststart =" but I'm not sure how to apply this to the builder.

After some more digging, I came across these lines from the builder:

wit\wit dolpatch ssbb.d/sys/main.dol ^
NEW=TEXT,80001800,10C0 ^
LOAD=80001800,../patch/codehandler.bin ^
XML=../patch/PatchCommon.xml ^
805A14B8=%PC% ^
NEW=DATA,80570000,%GCTSIZE% ^
LOAD=80570000,%GCTPATH%

Again, I tried changing 80570000 with 80560000 but the ISO still seems to ignore the codeset (It loads just a few characters at CSS, SSS is broken and crashes a lot. I also set the GCTSIZE to 113B0 (70,576 bytes, the size of my RSBE01.gct) and I get the same result.
Any ideas?
