So, I was at work today, and I saw this. It's been the talk of the hardlines/electronics employees for the past few days.

So I decided to check it out further in detail:

I'm not sure why it lists the date as December 31st of this year, but I think it's just a temporary date thing.

Do you think this is the proof that everyone's looking for? Do you think MM3D is real, or is this not convincing enough?

Edit: Thought I'd throw in some commonly mentioned things about these photos.

1. The number doesn't match what American Target numbers look like!
A: That's perfectly normal. The tag is from Canada, not the States, hence the difference. Subsequently, the price is in CAD, not USD.

2. It says there's one on the sales floor!
A: That's incorrect. That number represents how many spots it has on the sales floor. The On Hand number tells us how much there is.

3. I'm pretty sure someone just printed this off as a hoax.
A: While it's likely, no, it isn't. The tag was implemented with the shelf planogram (Which details where items are on the shelf, as well as fixture layout). So unless someone wanted to have every Target store open in Canada post a fake label, this is probably the most solid proof there is yet. As well, in the 4chan thread I stumbled upon, someone from St. Catherines, Ontario, was able to mention that the same tag existed in their store as well.

4. Why are there two known street dates (Dec. 31, 2014 and July 18, 2014)?
A: Seeing as I noticed this after it was set, it originally had July 18th set, however, it was changed between that set date and the date I took the photo.

5. Why is the current street date December 31st?
A: It's most likely a temporary date until it can be properly implemented in the system, or, it was removed to prevent some kind of issue with the release date of an unannounced game (I assume the former.)

6. $44.99! That's really expensive!
A: It may be a pre-order price, or else it's a tentative price. Don't forget that it's also in CAD, not USD.

Edit: (Nov 5, 2014) GAME CONFIRMED!

Ok, I didn't take a good look at the scanner the first time, and thought it said "No bathroom locations found".

Anyways, why $45? Wasn't OoT3D $40 on release?

Not really sure. It seems that newer 3DS games are a bit more expensive than closer-to-launch titles.

The thing that gets me the most is the UI on the PDT that's different than what I am used to.
We call them PDAs in Canada. I've been curious to see what a device from the States looks like.

The one I worked at PDT was the gun and PDA was the smaller one (LPDA)

Neat though

Wouldn't be surprised if this was something they surprise announce for holiday season. Since Nintendo seems to be coming out fighting, and majora's mask is such a beloved zelda it didn't need an e3 announcement. Since word of mouth for it would be painfully strong.

i've held off from playing it for so many years, just so that i would be able to play it in 3d and not get 'bored' playing it 'AGAIN' :)
i'm looking forward to it

I'd be interested, to some degree, but even more if they added something new to it. For example, I couldn't get the Master Quest for the gamecube originally, so having it bundled on the 3DS was awesome. Not a huge bonus, but I was happy nonetheless.

If they could have something new, maybe a hidden dungeon, maybe something that unlocks post game and makes more use of Oni-Link, or new puzzles that'd use nearly all of your masks.

I really hope this is real but I'm going to remain pessimistic until there's hard evidence to avoid another disappointment

Yeah, well that's their problem, they can suck it lol

I also caught wind of a 4chan thread on the subject, and it seems it's like this across Canada, so yeah, it wasn't just a one-off. I'm still wondering why it's in the system so early, unless they're finally starting to allow preorder cards in Canada.
