Kid Icarus Uprising and Mario Kart 7 are probably the most online-active games. They're both excellent.

MK7 and Kid Icarus always quick and easy to get into lobbies, I think Tekken and SSIV still has a few players and I've never found myself waiting to find a fight.

How does the online play though? I've been meaning to try it with a friend but I haven't found the time. Is it at least any good?
