I have been playing a ton of League still. I am level 22 now, still playing mainly Xin Zhao and Teemo. I had a game a few days ago that was ridiculously fun and easy and I ended up with 37 kills and 7 deaths.

Also, it takes a lot longer to get to level 30 than I thought it would. I wanted to get there for season 3 but I didn't play for a few months and it never happened.

The jump from 20 to 30 is quite long compared to pre 20.
Just grind yo!

I bought an XP boost for 3 days back in the day, but in retrospect, that's completely unnecessary.
If you really like the game, you'll end up 30 fast enough, trust me. IP boost is the only thing worth getting.

Had similar stats/matches Saturday.
But yesterday I fucked it all up, I've lost 5 games in a row :'( So sad, last game was my fault, other games just bad teammates/leavers.

I can only confidently carry randoms with Fizz.
Otherwise, I prefer to just play with friends and people from other forums. >.>

Venturing into ranked for the first time, with a couple of friends in a crappy team.
Some placement matches we just get absolutely wrecked (a 5-31 defeat comes to mind), some matches it's a bit better.

Just awful sometimes, we get ranked Bronze V, and then we just say 'fuck it, let's start a new team'. And we do it all over again. So so bad, I keep saying we should play in Bronze V and it'll only get better, but I'm not the only one in the team of course.

But tbh, just play some normals to try out team comps first. A good champion comp is key

Why can't we play in Bronze V for a while, climb up the ladder? I'm 100% sure we can get out of Bronze V, we've played 2 matches so far and we've won both. We're just better than that, and I think it's better to rise in this shitty league than to play placement matches again against teams that will be much more powerful than us (we encountered a team with over 7000 wins in total during our placement matches..... We only had 1400 wins)

I'm not planning on quitting anytime soon, no way, we just need to play more and maybe look for a real team comp some day. At the moment we just pick what we want (of course according to our lane), but we don't really aim to really work with each other. Mainly because we just don't know yet.

Unless you smash your wins and the system recognizes you are too good for your league, when that happens, LP gain gets significantly higher.
I'm experiencing this in my Bronze IV solo queue league
It saves time starting again but if you WANT to grind, do it! Your divisional LP should soar provided you carry on winning

Heh, I know what you mean with team comps, just gotta start picking champions with good synergy.
What champions do your team play? I could easily think of some good combo's for you.

I party here and there, but mostly solo. I get teammates with good attitude most of the times though so i'ts fine.

Well if we're really 'stuck in ELO Hell', then we'll just start over, no big deal really. It's team ranked so not a problem at all.

My best champs are Leona and Nasus. Malphite I've played tons too, but it has been a long time now. Also since they ban him very often in ranked, he's not that handy to have in your arsenal at the moment
I'm pretty good at Sona too, furthermore I'm average with Taric, Teemo, Ezreal, Hecarim, Lux, ....

So Sona's with fiddlesticks and kennens, (kennen ult for double stun) then have an MF at the back with her ult and maybe irelia as the damage clean up.
Leona is really in your face and is nicely combo'd with maokai coz of twisted advance,
Also, Shen up top and Nocturne in teh jungle, thats a hell lot of global presence for ganks

Have you ever tried placing a million teemo shrooms all in between the base turret and the inner turret of mid lane? Wins team fights instantly. Whole team comes to get in your base, and they all take like 1000 damage stepping in the first few, then when they try to escape, stepping in the ones towards the jungle, or if they carry on forward stepping in more hehe

Yeah Sona ult and MF is a nobrainer of course.
I've never tried Maokai, he seems cool though. I've got Shen and played a few games, enjoyable. Have to keep an eye out for low health teammates at any time though, it's hard to do that and keep last-hitting like a boss.
He's cool though, I'll play him some more this weekend I think.

And yeah, ranked team isn't that bad, we're just messing around a bit, if it gets too bad we can just start over.
Of course I've tried placing Teemo shrooms all over the place. I just find Teemo too hard to really play in Ranked, he's fun and all but in teamfights he's useless unless fed (at which point every champions becomes unstopabble).
You never see Teemo in high-elo either, says enough. Not a champ you want to keep playing with, just fun for periods.

Also quick question; can you use activate able items and an ability via the left-side portraits? In the left-side you have your teammates, their health/mana/level/ulti CD, and it would be handy if you could heal them or shield them via those portraits.
