'Cause SSB will take more time to develop and Sakurai said that he will not speak about the project until it is near completion. Why? Cause he hates the fact that people makes rumors about which character's gonna make the cut into the roster and that stresses him out. It's actually why he's considering not posting any twitter messages until then.

Hmm.. but the release date is supposed to be 2014, a tease at E3 would be perfect timing IMO

1. You know this was a MAJOR slip up from Iwata, right? Even Sakurai said so himself.
2. Iwata said this when the game did not even begin development. Sakurai was finishing KI:U.

1. That's the first I've heard about that, source please.
2. Okay, so what? They were trying to garner developers with this announcement.

1.http://nintendoeverything.com/inter...-the-process-sakurai-worried-about-long-wait/ Like I said. An accident because development began in june, which means you're gonna wait longer due to the earlyness of the announcement.
No, when you announce a console, it's quite normal to announce what to expect from that console. However, making a SSB announcement was way to soon. Iwata couldn't hold it and slipped it out. But who knows, perhaps it's because he wanted for the consoles to sell better?

This thread is getting a little off topic, it's for what you would like to see not what will and won't happen. Sapping the fun out of a fun topic =\.

And as for the Super Smash not making an appearance at all on E3 I'm highly aware of the current state of development etc. But look how far back we seen Luigis Mansion, Paper Mario and Animal Crossing compared to release dates. Nintendo has a trend of showing us something a year and a half before release. (I'm not talking about any final development or demos, simply just a teaser trailer, something short and sweet).

To the F-Zero suggestions I forgot clean all about this one :P Legendary days being five getting owned passed the second level on the original SNES version haha :P. I also played GX but that was short lived lol.

I would like to see a remake of Donkey Kong 64, Majora's Mask, and Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon. Also, in terms of apps it would be great if they (Big N) released Flipnote. For VC, SNES games. Killer Instinct would be my number one choice, even though it is impossible since Microsoft owns Rare.

Would love to see a decent mario party on the 3DS, i had a debate with my friends about how online might kill the game with people just rage quitting, but an easy way to counter that is to just have a displayable message that shows people if this person ran from their last match, only way to get rid of that message is to complete an online match all the way. Thus people worried about rage quitters can just choose not play with anyone with that message.

Twitter app isnt needed imo, you can acess twitter and facebook easily from the 3DS browser using the mobile versions of both websites, works perfectly for me. However, i do feel we need a better "instant" message chat on the 3DS, that doesnt require closing a game to message people, coz then i could invite my friends for a round of raid on resident evil/mario kart when i see them log on.

A better idea would be for a CPU player to take over if somebody ragequits. At least that way you can finish a game without getting annoyed at a sore loser.

It's not impossible, just highly unlikely. More likely that it comes out for a Microsoft based system than Nintendo, at any rate.

Besides, if we're going to revive a mediocre fighting game, why not Eternal Champions from Sega?

Isn't Swapnote an update/upgrade to Flipnote?

If we're doing wishful thinking bits here, I want a new StarTropics game. And a chili dog, with extra mustard.

No, far from it. It was an upgrade from pictochat. Flipnote Hatena is for making animations.
