Gaming What would you like to see for 3DS at E3 2013?

Going to start off by pointing the obvious one that is probably on everyone's mind.

Super Smash! - I mean, who isn't excited about this? Can't wait to see some early screens or gameplay.

More popular Nintendo characters making their own title releases to the 3ds Metroid, Kirby, Donkey Kong, A brand new Zelda (not a port).

A new Earthbound? It's a fairly large stretch considering.. but I'd love to see a new one.

If 8th January doesn't reveal something about a new Main Pokemon title I hope there will be some news on this on 3DS.

More applications made available, still scratching my head I would love to see the 3DS evolve into a better multi tool device, where's the YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and e-mail client apps?

Netflix UK 3DS - seriously? Over a million subscribers in the UK/Ireland and still no 3DS app.

An evolved Nintendo Video app - It needs changed it sucks big time as it is, ok so not everything is bad about I'm sure it has some sort of appeal for some people but certainly not everyone the Kid Icarus and Kirby videos were great, but they need to stay there? Make a much larger library rather than changing them around, then we can watch and delete them as we choose.

Miiverse 3DS - Be interesting to see how this turns out. Can't wait to see it.

Stretching far out here on the unlikely a Super Mario Sunshine two? It's not impossible I mean on the intro of the game you are shown that Delfino Isle is only one of several Islands in that area? I think there is a crab shaped Island as one of them also and Delfino Isle is a dolphin.

Mario Party 3DS? - The online on this would be it's main feature it's always been a good party game and I'm a huge fan of the series.

All and all I'm happy with the speed the 3DS is picking up with it's brutally slow start, but 2013 is really the year to push this device.

Of course I haven't touched on 3rd party games, I'd like to see more eshop Virtual console games put up like Sonic Chaos? Why are the other Game Gear sonic games (which imo aren't that great compared to SC) on the VC eshop yet?

As for retail games I have no idea when it comes to Nintendo I normally buy most of Nintendo's own games and Sonic etc. Although I do enjoy SSIV and Tekken Prime on the 3DS also.

Ok so I know Nintendo can be money whores but £40 for digital downloads for retail games? I can pick up half of them games for £30 or less and then it doesn't fill my SD card and take forever to download. I know the digital download is more convenient for some people, but Nintendo are you trying to encourage us to digital download? Sony is just as bad £58.99 for some retail games when you can pick them up for £30-£40, I don't think they are doing it right.

An SD based video app with a better codec.
3D (and 2D) movies on carts. Although this might be a little cost prohibitive, I'm not going to pay £25+ for a movie.

Would love to see a decent mario party on the 3DS, i had a debate with my friends about how online might kill the game with people just rage quitting, but an easy way to counter that is to just have a displayable message that shows people if this person ran from their last match, only way to get rid of that message is to complete an online match all the way. Thus people worried about rage quitters can just choose not play with anyone with that message.

Twitter app isnt needed imo, you can acess twitter and facebook easily from the 3DS browser using the mobile versions of both websites, works perfectly for me. However, i do feel we need a better "instant" message chat on the 3DS, that doesnt require closing a game to message people, coz then i could invite my friends for a round of raid on resident evil/mario kart when i see them log on.

There was supposed to be a Hulu Plus app. That, plus Youtube, would be nice. Not necessary, but nice.

Another update to Find Mii/Puzzle Quest could happen. No more fucking purple pieces, though, please.

I too would like a new Earthbound/other series game. Seriously doubt it will happen, though.

A new 2D Metroid was listed as wish. I'd like this too, but I doubt it will happen, since they seem to think Metroid was better as an FPS. They're wrong, but whatever.


We'll probably see another Mario game. Possibly some new Pokemon thing. Maybe the next Mario Party game, since there was one for the DS.

The number one thing I'd like is the "Nintendo Network" to allow me to do what Xbox Live and PSN do. Puchases tied to account, not console. I'd also like to win the lottery. Seems an equal chance, though I'd probably say the lottery has the better chance there.

'Cause SSB will take more time to develop and Sakurai said that he will not speak about the project until it is near completion. Why? Cause he hates the fact that people makes rumors about which character's gonna make the cut into the roster and that stresses him out. It's actually why he's considering not posting any twitter messages until then.

After that, probably Smash Bros, and then Zelda.
